Ladies, I think we may have to have a pecking order......no more bfps unless it's Madmac, Nunny, Becs, Smartie, LilDevil, Catw0man, Snuggles(if you're still lurking!), Maddie, Bitzer(I know you're lurking!), Gena, Kmckee, Natalie, Mishka, Justmarried, Twinklie, Nichart, Hassle, sexki11en...Phew! Thinks that the majority of oldtimers, sorry if I missed you:o Oh and Me:D:D:D
[/QUOTE]
You missed me but I'm not offended, have been more of a lurker recently
nothing much to report DH had urology appointment which confirmed theres nothing they can do to help his swimmers and also that he has an abnormal swelling (apparently nothing to worry about) and has been referred for a scan. I had routine smear today (battled in the ice - dedication to the cause!) and still waiting for next consultant mtg in Feb when hopefully we'll get started on IUI.
Hugs to those who need them ...2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

Hehe confuzzled - just noticed in cedrickerry's post that I came first in your list! Now I know I'm the oldest, but really... did you have to rub it in?! :rotfl::rotfl:
And cedrickerry, I haven't forgotten you, or anybody else
, I'm just too far along the TTC path to pretend I'm still trying - I will be writing my own TTC book soon probably, but the alternative version - i.e. the one where you do everything and still don't win the prize
Love to all from me, old, knackered and past it and can be found if you want one of my wisdom moments any time on the 12+ board, x :grouphug:for the oldies and :grouphug: for the newbies - you lucky things!0 -
Just wanted to add HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to hassle on your BFP! I kept forgetting!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0

Flipping heck maybe the TTC'ers should go back into hiding if I have to read through 6 pages to catch up after work! Right as I have skim read I'm bound to forget some (age related you can let me off) so don't think I'm ignoring you if not named!
Firstly the congrats to Ethelsmum and Hassle :j:j:j I hope you both have a very happy and healthy 8 months!
Next Penny I tried to say in my previous post that we completely understand that there are those with bfp's who want to stay around a little longer whatever their reasons be and we totally understand that and fully support that. We want to be here to offer as much support as we can to everyone that needs it so I'm certain you have not upset anyone with your posting. I think things came to a head yesterday because the TTC thread seemed to be completely dominated by posts by the newly pg ones and re their pg's and some of us were feeling a bit out of the mix a bit and I think it was preventing a lot of the ttc'ers posting so wanted to draw them out from lurking.
Sexki11en yay for getting the boiler working but boo for not having an excuse to get to bed early to bd!
Nunny I could have sworn that post was from me! Your story is so like mine, nice to see I'm not alone!
Right my sum up, I think we are a thread full of very wise, sensitive and caring women but chuck hormones into the mix and we get meltdown from time to time!
Oh and Madmac we do love seeing you and you are from from old!0 -
I've justs done 30 mins of yoga on my Wii! I'm assuming exercise is good for ttc...it's just fitness in general is it not. Does any type of exercise have particular benefits over any other?
I choose yoga because it makes me focus on my breathing (I'm asthmatic), gives me more flexibility and I find it a bit of a destress. I probably should do some aerobic exercise though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £1.42 Dec24

Evening everyone
Well im afraid your stuck with me for a while now!
Rang the epc at 11, couldnt get through so left a messages but was at work so had to go back to work but kept checking my phone and at 11.30 i got through and she said 'im afraid your blood tests were 10(well 10 meant nothing to me but know that wasnt good) and it looks like a miscarriage' then she asked are you ok?anything you want to ask me? i felt like saying no its ok ive been here three times now! but i started crying and said no im ok, and then she said well what you need to do now is in a week - 10days do another pg test and if its positive to ring them back(no i dont f**king want to do another test as obv it will be negative and ill get bl**dy upset again and plus i dont have test left so will have to buy some more just to get a bl**dy negative (was going say cant you pay as i dont have any left but was crying!) So had a quick cry at work, luckly all the kids/adults were outside so quickly sorted myself out and went back to work.
Well im certianly starting to feel like an 'old timer' even tho i've only been on this thread since oct so 3months but come off the pill in Feb so will be a year next monet(yayNOT!) but then i suppose i should feel lucky that ive managed to get 3 bfp's but they arnt sticky bfp's.
Thinking about going back to the doctors but i just dont see what different tests he will do. I know they all say that there is nothing i could/couldnt off done that caused my mcs, but just feeling like that it is me, im bl**dy 20 years old i should be popping loads off kids out!!
Sorry if ive missed anyone out
Penny i really hope you get on ok tomorrow and its better news then mine, please do pop back and lets us know how you get(if its good news it will give me hope!)
ps. sorry about the LONG post and my swearing - i shall go wash my mouth out with soap:rotfl:0 -

Laura; was wondering where you were; have actually just posted on the less than 12 weeks board asking about you.
You carry on swearing; I've just said a few choice words on your behalf too.
I don't know what else to say except that I'm devastated for you and your OH; truly shi**y things happen to lovely people and it's not bloody fair.
You take care of yourselves and you know where I am (and what I look like!) if you need anything.
