QQuaver, I bought a CBFM and did not read instructions properly so thought it showed I had not ovualted. I was gutted and decided it was due to my age and it would never happen, dramatic I know. But we decided to stop trying and go to see a doctor in the New Year, but the first month we stopped trying we got our BFP !!!!

Hmmm..... Does one has to tell OH too? I can mentally think 'I don't want a baby' while DTD and mean it, but does OH need to do the same? He wants a baby so bad, more than me, and asks things like when's AF? when's ov? which is getting on my nerves:rolleyes:

We both just decided to stop trying and planned a couple of holidays and decided we would go and see a doctor about it in the New Year (i.e. this year now) :) For that month I paid no attention to ov CM or anything, just enjoyed ourselves :)

Quaver, it happened on my 2nd month of not trying, or 7 months after coming off the pill. I was as bad as your other half, even to the point of ringing my OH and telling him to come home from work to do the deed. It was far too stressful for us both. By agreeing to stop trying, and just go with the flow it meant we could enjoy each other far more. I also like Penny didn't pay any attention to ov CM or anything.

I am sure its not as straight forward as to stop trying, but I think the reduction in stress can only help.

On the other hand, I completely stopped 'trying' in Dec and it didn't work for me.

Also, we are not really 'trying' at all, just BDing regularly throughout the cycle (i have BBT'd some months but more just to see if we are actually hitting the days rather than to plan), and definately not thinking about TTC when BDing, and yet I'm on my 8th cycle now with nothing to show for it (as with bitzer, not even a chemical pg).

The only time i really spend much time thinking about TTC is in the last week of my cycle.

I really don't think there is any trick that will work, its all just down to probablities, patience and luck.
Proud to be a moneysaver!

    Right ladies... Zinc

DH doesn't want to take supplements so what foods contain zinc?? I know I could google but I thought I'd keep you lot busy with giving me ideas;):D

Maybe selenium is just as important. Also in Brazil nuts.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
