Hilariously I heard about an hour ago that my boss and all the other hero's who made it into the office had all legged it as Windsor was like a blizzard!!! So if I'd gone in I'd be panicking now about getting out again!

What a chump! I'm hoping he has a complete nightmare getting home so he can stop being so holier than thou about it all!

    :rotfl: Did he get stuck?!
    How eloquently put:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It might be an idea to test daily to begin with until you get to know your cycles and when you're likely to ov then just use the sticks around that time...ebay probably will be your friend to begin with:)

:D You know me, always like to keep up the tone of the board :D

    Hi ladies
I posted the other day about my progesterone levels being low and being on a 100+ day cycle. Well still waiting for blood tests to come back to see if dr needs to refer me to the hospital after 12mths ttc - OH insisted a take a pg test today "just to check" - I was really apprehensive about it as I now I would be devestated when it turned up BFN (even though I expected it). Anyway, to cut a long story short ..12 mths on and I have finallty got my BFP.
Its very early days and I am very nervous (despite this being number 3).
Hope you all get your BFPs soon and lots of sticky dust to those with theirs already xxxx

ps - hope you don't mind me posting!

    :j :j :j Congrats hun!

Ok, so please can the lucky ladies who have had their BFPs tell us what they did that particular month different to what they usually did. What do you think helped to get the BFP?

    Many thanks :)

I honestly can't remember if I did anything different. Still waiting for that elusive sticky BFP though!
.............I think I'm becoming a jaded TTCer:o...I envy all of you who are new to this malarky and can get excited about testing etc:) Sometimes I wish I could be blissfully ignorant of the ttcing ways...unfortunately my need to know as much as possible about what I'm doing hampered that:rolleyes: lol

I sincerely hope that none of you are still here in a few months time(especially old timers....you know who you are:p)...then again, that'll mean I'll be talking to myself:eek:

Ladies, I think we may have to have a pecking order......no more bfps unless it's Madmac, Nunny, Becs, Smartie, LilDevil, Catw0man, Snuggles(if you're still lurking!), Maddie, Bitzer(I know you're lurking!), Gena, Kmckee, Natalie, Mishka, Justmarried, Twinklie, Nichart, Hassle, sexki11en...Phew! Thinks that the majority of oldtimers, sorry if I missed you:o Oh and Me:D:D:D
Not in any particular order though so if my bfp comes first then so be it;):rotfl:

and before I forget ........ LL if you're lurking can you please post a link to any pics you may be posting tomorrow pls:D:D I'm more excited for you than I was EA & Kindof and thats saying something:eek: Sorry girls but it's true:p:rotfl:

Eek, I'm officially classed as an 'old-timer' :D

On the TTC front, CD20 for me and started getting sore boobies yesterday and had a couple of twinges in my side, so deffo something going on, whether it's AF due to make another appearance or something more exciting, only time will tell

wow, I may only be new to the thread but that doesnt mean new to ttc, so sorry I didnt go through all my ups and downs with you guys but it was only after my 2nd MC in a row that I felt I needed support with this ttc.
I've been lurking since last January (2009), but didn't post until I had a mc.
    I decided I needed to post:o

I'd open a bottle of wine tonight, but I did that last night and DH had 2 sips and gave me his meaning I ended up drinking half a bottle without realising! Naughty TTCer. I'd cook him something nice, but (and i'm not bragging here honestly) I always do. I'm a good little wifey and his dinner is always on the table when he gets in from work. 2 reasons really, 1 i'm in first so it makes sense to just get on with it and 2 when he cooks bless him, it takes forever and the kitchen looks like a bombs hit it lol.
Sounds like your DH has the same kind of cooking technique as mine:rolleyes: As nice as it is that he trys to cook me a meal...I really wish he wouldn't bother:o Its normally me who ends up tidying up after and it take aaaggggggeeeeeeeesss:rolleyes:

well yesterday was my last fertile day of the month, tried my best to get DH in the mood and the git only went and PTFO'd on me:mad::mad: Not a happy bunny to say the least! Will have to have words about kicking his friends out BEFORE midnight:mad::mad::mad:

Hope you lot are having better luck than me:)

    Hi dustystar

Re: opks - I'm on month 3 of using a batch of ebay cheapies - not once have I got a positive for LH surge, now of course that could be me - but I can't be going too wrong with the days I'm using them as my cycle is pretty regular at around 25 days. And I've been good about using them at the supposedly peak time of day (around 2pm) On CD 11 now and nothing so far this month either. So I don't have much faith in them.

Going to get a CBFM and give that a try from next month onwards

Thanks for the tip, let me know how you get on with CBFM. As i said I have tested halfheartedly previously and never had a positive surge but I'm putting that down to testing the wrong days. I'm def going to start testing every day from the last day of my next AF with those off Amazon. I'd at least like to get into a regular cycle if nothing else.! Good luck to you..x
  • Sorry if I'm being thick but can I've heard monitoring your CM is a sign of fertility. Can someone explain what ti is and when I should expect to see it in my cycle. I'm due my AF any day now but on mon and tues this week I had some reddish marks which I assumed were a sign that my AF was due, could it be something else?
