I sincerely hope that none of you are still here in a few months time(especially old timers....you know who you are:p)...then again, that'll mean I'll be talking to myself:eek:
Ladies, I think we may have to have a pecking order......no more bfps unless it's Madmac, Nunny, Becs, Smartie, LilDevil, Catw0man, Snuggles(if you're still lurking!), Maddie, Bitzer(I know you're lurking!), Gena, Kmckee, Natalie, Mishka, Justmarried, Twinklie, Nichart, Hassle...Phew! Thinks that the majority of oldtimers, sorry if I missed you:o Oh and Me:D:D:D
Not in any particular order though so if my bfp comes first then so be it;):rotfl:
and before I forget ........ LL if you're lurking can you please post a link to any pics you may be posting tomorrow pls:D:D I'm more excited for you than I was EA & Kindof and thats saying something:eek: Sorry girls but it's true:p:rotfl:
Busted!:rotfl:
Much love honey, cheers :j i'm perfectly happy to wait my turn for some of those lovelies ahead of meAnd LL - yes, pics!!

I think I'll be here for a while yet. I'm just going to hijack my mates pregnancy I think. I'll have to get my kicks from her because I'm not likely to get anywhere for a while. DH will be away most times I ov I reckon which will make it difficult.
I guess it's not such a bad thing financially and situationally for me if it takes a while. But now I've got DH back on board we've come up with a plan and I want it to happen!!! I've been patient enough I reckon.
I'd like to see the others on the list with bfp's first though (only if you hurry up though ladies....I don't wanna wait long myself)! I'd feel like a queue jumper if I went first because I've not been ttc since summer.

Ah Fuzz what a lovely post with all those sentiments many of us feel too! Please stay posting on here it's getting pretty lonely amongst the ttc'ers now so many " old timers" have gone into hiding! (you know who you are!;))
Whilst we do love to see so many graduating from this thread, and many are hanging on here until you feel safer to move to pg because of your histories and we are here to support each of you and hand hold for as long as necessary, it's getting lonely with so much talk of bfp's and not ttc. So come on girlies ttc let's get chatty again, I miss you all!
Glad it was taken the way it was intended:) after I posted I thought "bugga, don't wanna remind this lot how long they've been here!":o:rotfl:And yes more ttc talk....I actually enjoy being able to help you newbies out with what I know, and if I don't know it I'm sure someone else will:)bitzer_maloney wrote: »Busted!:rotfl:

Aww thanks Fuzz. I feel caught between a rock and a hard place though. I wanna properly throw myself into ttc but I know I'm not allowed. There again I'm using my CBFM next month just because I want too. I checked the expiry date on the sticks and they are ok for ages....however I don't care!!!
How far gone is LL now? I've forgotten.

LL we do want to hear your updates. Nice to see an old timer popping back to show that we really can get off this flipping thread!
Fuzz we're almost cycle buddies, I'm cd22 today. Highly unlikely anything will happen here though as no idea about ov or anything this month! Feel like my right arm's been cut off without the cbfm this month! Definately no stepping back for me! (Unless of course the other ladies tactics are right! )
Bitzer nice to see you delurking!
Twinklie I'm hoping you cracked it this month then you don't have to fret over your decisions!
Edit to say think LL is 12 weeks now!0 -

Becs, this is not aimed at you, your post just sums up the last few that have been posted.
For me, this thread has just taken on a bit of a cliquey vibe. For some reason, I diasappeared from the testing list, despite not having posted an update on whether AF arrived or notSome of us would like to talk about TTC but appear to be invisible. I have to agree to a certain point, the other reason i've not posted recently is all the banter between the "newly PG" guys. NOT that they shouldnt be here, just it's difficult to join in when our heads aren't in the same place.
All this talk of "old timers" will also be encouraging peeps not to post. I mean, i've been here 6 months.....how long before I have to be considered "part of the gang"? I've never had a BFP but hey ho. I guess you have to be almost 12 months before you fit in. Maybe there should be a TTC < 6months thread for us "newbies"?
It's difficult to keep up with the PMA when you feel like you're not justified in feeling low because you haven't been trying as long as someone else.
I'll be shot down/hated for this, but post and be damned - the rest of you have with little regard for many others feelings who post regularly on here. We're all on the same journey, just some of us are a little further along than others but we all want the same thing.

Oo er Missus! I've consumed a bottle of wine and that sounds just wrong to me:rotfl:

oo your 1 day in front of me:j AF is due here on the 20th, and I think she'll be right on schedule...unless my some miracle I've managed to keep some of DHs boys alive for the past week:rolleyes::rotfl:
IS the cbfm good then??? I kep thinking about it but don't wanna end up relying on it IYSWIM:o PLus I can't justify the expense just yet!1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Sexki11en I don't know how you got missed off the testing list...was probs my fault:o and I gotta admit I did cringe when I went through the last few(billion!) pages and realised I'd missed you off of my 'old timers' list:o:o:o Pls forgive me:A
Pls keep up the PMA, it is hard and we all know that but we gotta keep bumbling along and as this thread can be of a sensitive nature to the majority of us it's really difficult to keep our emotions in check.
I for one can hold my hands up to more than a few 'outbursts' on here since about 6months on as I keep hitting different milestones and it's hard:o Possibly why I feel I can relate more to Bitzer & Smartie as they both joined/started to TTC around the same time as me so are all in a similar place IYSWIM
I didn't mean for anything to be/sound insensitive or cliquey(sp?)

Haha we knew you were there Missy!:p You still enjoying not charting etc?
<snip> I can't hide from you lot, you know more about me than my closest friends with all the TMI on here!!
I'm still enjoying not feeling at the beck-and-call of "the machine" as OH calls the CBFM! And I'm enjoying not temping now I'm satisfied that I am actually oving, and (TMI) I had so much ewcm this month it was hard not to think about it! I mean seriously, I always checked internally, but this was more than obviousIts also made me enjoy bding a lot more, its not always about the ttc, its when we fancy it (which for me, since coming off the pill is at least every 2 days
)
twinklie if we get off the ground from Gatwick I shall inundate you with pics (probably of me on my bum though!!)
becs - :hello:
sk - I know what you're saying honey! We've all been newbies and need to ask questions and seek reassurance, and the newly pg girlies are understandably excited and apprehensive and also need that reassurance and advice. I don't really know what the answer is to be honest. There's serious hormones and emotional upset here. This is potentially a long lonely road for some, even when they get their bfp its not a given that there's a happy ending as many of these ladies sadly know
I don't think anyone has more "right" to feel low as they've been trying longer, we're all coming at ttc from different places in our lives, with different backgrounds and situations. I do think though that once you've gone over the 6 month mark (6 months of hoping and dreaming and crashing disappointment in my case!) you kinda get a different perspective. And I know it seems a bit crappy but I think people advising others to wait and stuff is from that perspective and in an attempt to save others from the same crushing heartache.
and fuzz - don't use me as an adjective!! :rotfl: And I've just seen your cheeky comment! I will be riding my snowboard and maybe OH if he's a good boyNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
