Sexki11en I don't know how you got missed off the testing list...was probs my fault:o and I gotta admit I did cringe when I went through the last few(billion!) pages and realised I'd missed you off of my 'old timers' list:o:o:o Pls forgive me:A

Pls keep up the PMA, it is hard and we all know that but we gotta keep bumbling along and as this thread can be of a sensitive nature to the majority of us it's really difficult to keep our emotions in check.
I for one can hold my hands up to more than a few 'outbursts' on here since about 6months on as I keep hitting different milestones and it's hard:o Possibly why I feel I can relate more to Bitzer & Smartie as they both joined/started to TTC around the same time as me so are all in a similar place IYSWIM

I didn't mean for anything to be/sound insensitive or cliquey(sp?)

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You know what? I get exactly what you mean. (half a bottle of wine in here) and i'm not an "old timer" I know that, as half the names you mentioned, I don't know (i've missed Bitzer posting recently) I totally get what you mean by outbursts tho - clearly from my last post :o Part of my thinking was tho that i've been around a fair while - long enough to know how this works & how hard it is when you get to a certain stage. Some of the newer guys wouldn't necessarily know that and maybe be put off posting.

I dunno.....I was due an outburst I think. We really thought we'd cracked it this time. Sickness, constipation, bloated, sore boobs, cramps (none of which i've ever had before) past usual AF date and still we didn't do it, despite hitting every fertile date for BD. AF arrived on 29th Dec. I have a CBFM coming my way in the next few days (very lovely best friend) but sadly can't use it till next month.

We're coming up BD time from tomorrow and tbh - I don't know if I can face it. We will of course because we *know* we should and it would be a wasted opportunity but i'm finding it harder every time.

Sorry to have taken it out on you guys and really, no offence was eant to anyone but theres nowhere else I can vent like this.....

No offence taken hun and 6months was my 1st outburst to:o Its quite a hurdle!! Vent away, its what we're here for:)

Completely understand the feelings about bding too...sometimes it's a chore rather than fun coz it's kinda planned IYSWIM

Tomorrow night, try and relax(huh, yeah right! If I had a penny...) open a bottle of wine and if you feel horny...jump him;):rotfl:If you don't, there's always tomorrow(assuming it won't be your last day during OV)

EDIT:I miss Bitzer too:o:o Possibly coz we have similar humour?!:p

(((HUGS))) to you and keep up that PMA:D:D

I'm off to bed now....knackered and strangely lucid:eek:!!!!

    Sticky babydust all round

    nighty night all xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • usually better if they're bad boys IME:rotfl:Hehehe wondered if you'd notice that....think the phrase 'doing a bitzer' sounds better than plain old 'disappearing':) When do you find out if you can fly?

Well we're due to leave Saturday at 7am, so fingers crossed we won't be delayed too much after they clear the backlog from today and last night..
And I know what you mean about badboys, OH swears I've corrupted him :D

You probably missed me as I had a month or so "off" from here as it was doing my head in (not you lot, just the ttc millstone) and I feel so much better for it! Plus its done my marriage a world of good. I'm a scientist and I just obsess over every little thing, so a little mystery and distraction stops me driving myself mad with SS! If you can, bd when you feel like it, not when you "should" and hopefully it will help you rekindle the spark of desire with your OH. If you're feeling jaded by it, he might be too you know..

We all have outbursts and get our hopes up *so* high some months and are sure we've cracked it, then AF turns up and the bottom drops out of the world... Some of us like fuzz said joined at the same time so we feel like we're sharing the journey in some respects.

As for venting, that's what we're here for! ;)

But it all comes back to this in the end:

25% of couples get pregnant in the first month
    60% within 6 months
    75% within 9 months and
    90% within a year and a half

obviously there's medical/age issues that can tip you into the longer side, but those statistics wouldn't exist if there was a magical pill to take.
I'm in my 10th cycle, I've taken (daily) agnus castus, baby aspirin, 100mg B6, my prenatal vitamin, had my progesterone checked, had my std swabs, my rubella bloods, taken my temperature daily , checked my cervix position daily , checked my cervical mucus, used OV sticks, used a cbfm, bd every single day I may be fertile sometimes ............and yet, nada, zip,, nothing, not even a chemical pregnancy.

Now I'm still on my prenatal vit and B6 but everything else (including hpts) have gone in a box in the loft so I'm not even tempted. It becomes an obsession when all we have to do is wait and that is the killer....
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

wow, I may only be new to the thread but that doesnt mean new to ttc, so sorry I didnt go through all my ups and downs with you guys but it was only after my 2nd MC in a row that I felt I needed support with this ttc.

Ah Sexki11en, I used the phrase "old timers" losely my definition being aimed more at anyone who has been posting on ttc and had seemed to disappear. We certainly aren't a cliquely lot and I'm mortified if we have made anyone feel like that. There are a few of us who have been here for more than a year and as such we do have differing experiences, this is why we set up a facebook thread for ourselves so that we didn't bring that onto this thread. As Fuzz said yesterday we love having the newbies here and having the chance to offer advice and support but if you don't post we don't get to know you!
As for you Merfe EVERYONE is welcome here, lots of people haven't posted on here from day one of ttc myself included, it is for anyone on that journey whether they have been trying 1 day or 10 years! It's about the process of ttc and not about how long we've all been here. (Although do get that it can come accross that way!)
SO come on ALL ttc'ers start posting!

Right. PMA (trying) to make a comeback. 1st fertile day out of 6 for me today  Only because my cycle was so out of whack last month, FF is giving me 3 possible fertile dates until nearer the time/more info is input, so I guess we just have to keep at it lol.

I have a snow day today again but DH has to drive 30 miles, some of them untreated back roads near Swindon  Don't think I did the where you live bit, we live in Bristol. I only have to travel 4 miles to work and the busses are running, but the boss lives in Wales and can't make it in. I have a key, but one of my colleagues won't walk to the bus stop in the ice so i'd be on my own in the office so have been told not to bother lol.

I'd open a bottle of wine tonight, but I did that last night and DH had 2 sips and gave me his meaning I ended up drinking half a bottle without realising! Naughty TTCer. I'd cook him something nice, but (and i'm not bragging here honestly) I always do. I'm a good little wifey and his dinner is always on the table when he gets in from work. 2 reasons really, 1 i'm in first so it makes sense to just get on with it and 2 when he cooks bless him, it takes forever and the kitchen looks like a bombs hit it lol.

I guess I could dig out some nice underwear and maybe give him a massage with the lush massage bar he got me for Christmas lol.

I may come back later with more ramblings!

Lots of PMA and sticky babydust vibes everyone.
