I've hidden my tests now so I don't waste money using them....I can't stop thinking about it still though. Stupid brain.
I could also burst into tears at the thought of going to work tomorrow and I don't know why. I must be getting hormonal early this month!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £1.42 Dec24
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. Dec 24 - 3.85%/28.34%

Hi dustystar
Re: opks - I'm on month 3 of using a batch of ebay cheapies - not once have I got a positive for LH surge, now of course that could be me - but I can't be going too wrong with the days I'm using them as my cycle is pretty regular at around 25 days. And I've been good about using them at the supposedly peak time of day (around 2pm) On CD 11 now and nothing so far this month either. So I don't have much faith in them.
Going to get a CBFM and give that a try from next month onwardsWe Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
thanks so much confuzzled think I will take your advice and not test until atleast next weekend.
I know what you mean twinklie, I just want to know!! My head doesn't want to think of anything else! its all i can do not to test every day!!! and i am hugely hormonal, nearly cried at gordon ramsey?!
make-it-3 I tried using the ov sticks from ebay and they never showed a pos for me either. Not sure how good they are to be honest, I was hoping the preg tests would be better.
Sticky dust to all.

Sammy, I agree with Ethelsmum, it happened when I'd stopped obsessing about it. After my m/c in October, I was convinced I'd fall again instantly, and was upset when I didn't. However, December was a manic month, stress at work, OH had exams, moving house, not to mention Christmas. I thought I knew when I was going to ov, but it was about 3 days before we moved and we definitely didn't dtd around then as we were too shattered so I must have got that wrong :rotfl:I did the test just after Christmas as an afterthought really, just because I'd found a spare test as we'd moved. I woke up, needed a wee, saw it sitting there and thought "Maybe...?"
Congratulations Ethelsmum BTW :T
LemonTree, I know what you mean about having nothing left after work. It does my head in that it takes so much out of me, and I'm certain it's not appreciated  Hope your job-justifying goes well xx
MV you CAN do it! Hormones send us all a bit loopy sometimes, and paranoia kicks in, but you will be fine. Miss b is spot on, it does keep getting better.
Welcome Dustystar xx
Hugs to Penny, fingers crossed for Friday xx
Laura, your bravery takes my breath away. Massive respect to you!! xxxx
Not looking forward to the journey to work tomorrow, I normally cycle to the train station - clearly I'm not going to do that as I'd probably end up under a bus, but I don't fancy the 40 minute walk (or more like an hour with the sluch/ice) to get my 7.20am train :eek: There is a bus I can get, but the bus service was suspended early this afternoon, so goodness knows if it'll be running tomorrow. I hope work is shut tomorrow, but can't see it somehow, most of the management are bl**dy martyrs and would go in if their heads fell off:rotfl:0 -
Sammy I just used ther ov sticks and that seemed to workfor me.
I'd never tried to get preg in my life before so had no idea how hard it was going to be/long it might take.
Itys still very early but i guess im lucky that i got preg so quickly.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
.............I think I'm becoming a jaded TTCer:o...I envy all of you who are new to this malarky and can get excited about testing etc:) Sometimes I wish I could be blissfully ignorant of the ttcing ways...unfortunately my need to know as much as possible about what I'm doing hampered that:rolleyes: lol
I sincerely hope that none of you are still here in a few months time(especially old timers....you know who you are:p)...then again, that'll mean I'll be talking to myself:eek:
Ladies, I think we may have to have a pecking order......no more bfps unless it's Madmac, Nunny, Becs, Smartie, LilDevil, Catw0man, Snuggles(if you're still lurking!), Maddie, Bitzer(I know you're lurking!), Gena, Kmckee, Natalie, Mishka, Justmarried, Twinklie, Nichart, CedricKerry, sexki11en...Phew! Thinks that the majority of oldtimers, sorry if I missed you:o Oh and Me:D:D:D
Not in any particular order though so if my bfp comes first then so be it;):rotfl:
and before I forget ........ LL if you're lurking can you please post a link to any pics you may be posting tomorrow pls:D:D I'm more excited for you than I was EA & Kindof and thats saying something:eek: Sorry girls but it's true:p:rotfl:1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Ah Fuzz what a lovely post with all those sentiments many of us feel too! Please stay posting on here it's getting pretty lonely amongst the ttc'ers now so many " old timers" have gone into hiding! (you know who you are!;))
Whilst we do love to see so many graduating from this thread, and many are hanging on here until you feel safer to move to pg because of your histories and we are here to support each of you and hand hold for as long as necessary, it's getting lonely with so much talk of bfp's and not ttc. So come on girlies ttc let's get chatty again, I miss you all!0 -
point taken. I will keep lurking though.
Good luck to all and sticky baby dust all round.
