hope your friend's FIL is found soon.
I think i have you all beaten i have 16 tests in the house, but only because i got some with the thermometer and pre seed that i ordered.
PS what's PMA? It's one of the few i'm still trying to figure out.0 -
Hi there :hello:
And welcome!
I've just posted a reply to your thread.... Hope it helps!
xx
thank you, i've just ordered some, think i am going to test every day starting with last day of next period which i feel is iminent.
just signed up at FF but it looks complicated!
Many thanks for all help so far. Will be checking in regularly.0 -
Lemon Tree - PMA is "Positive Mental Attitude". Sometimes you have loads of it, and sometimes it just ups and leaves you (mostly on day 1 of AF lol)
Dusty - I start using OPKs on CD10, but if you're not sure of your cycle length, best to use from when your AF ends. And also, its best to use afternoon pee, as you tend to OV in the afternoon. But try to not drink anything for about 4 hours before you POAS. I find FF a bit confusing, I think I prefer MMC (My Monthly Cycle)0 -
Ok, so please can the lucky ladies who have had their BFPs tell us what they did that particular month different to what they usually did. What do you think helped to get the BFP?
Many thanks0 -

It sounds a cliche but I stopped trying! I didn't come in here for a few weeks, or on the other ttc/baby sites. I didn't look for ovulation signs etc. I stopped thinking about anything to do with babies and ttc (xmas planning helped keep my mind busy lol). I just enjoyed the xmas period with my friends and family, and drunk lots of wine.
Good luck to you all xxx0 -
thanks for the explanation.
I think at the moment i'm trying to project a PMA at work so much that by the time i get home i just can't do it any more and the real me is coming out. Hopefully things will be a little better after tomorrow as i have my 'justify your job' interview tomorrow, so once that's over with i can try and forget about it all until we hear what the plans for us all are.0 -

confuzzled when should I test? Af due 7th (tomorrow) ??
How odd about 1st time you conceived & the brazil nuts...might just have to go and buy Mozza's stash for DH:rotfl:sleepytiger wrote: »Weird goings on here. CD10 and my boobs hurt. Yesterday had a sharp pain in my right side and ewcm. Temp stayed fairly constant but its so cold here that its hard to know what's going on. Am I Oving a little early? If so, unless some of OHs little swimmers stayed around from the weekend, there will be no bfp this month - he's snowed in elsewhere. Also woke up feeling very, very sick this morning so maybe something has thrown me out of whack.Hi ladies
I posted the other day about my progesterone levels being low and being on a 100+ day cycle. Well still waiting for blood tests to come back to see if dr needs to refer me to the hospital after 12mths ttc - OH insisted a take a pg test today "just to check" - I was really apprehensive about it as I now I would be devestated when it turned up BFN (even though I expected it). Anyway, to cut a long story short ..12 mths on and I have finallty got my BFP.
Its very early days and I am very nervous (despite this being number 3).
Hope you all get your BFPs soon and lots of sticky dust to those with theirs already xxxx

I have the ebay cheapy tests? Sorry to just butt in, I have a habit of doing that.am just desperate to know.... I guess I have been completely nieve and didnt realise how hard it would be.

Once I hit the 12month mark I think I'll have a few months break and then start again with avengeance, and hopefully talk DH into getting tested...not gonna be easy though!!
