Hey!
I haven't read or posted here for ages as I felt I needed to have a break
I have been married 2.5 years and been ttc that whole time. I have had three m/c's. One at 10 weeks and I found out at my first scan, The second, we knew straight away something wasnt right, but the specialists kept scanning me every week and nothing was growing but betas were going up. They kept me going for 12 weeks and then I had a D&C, after 2 painful failed goes at medical management.
Then I had a large loop biopsy after severe cell changes and couldnt try for a while.
Last month I miscarried, very early on though, only about 4 weeks.
On Wednesdsay I have my first appointment for fertility investigations.
But................... now a/f is 5 days late, I have tested today and there is a very very feint line!!!! Hubby doesnt beleive it, but its there. I will test again with first urine tomorrow.
Dont quite know how to feel............................2014 = New Year, New Me0 -
Ah Mennie,
Welcome firstly. Congrats on the faint positive! I understand your nervousness but don't give up hope, without hope we have nothing! I really hope this one works out for you.0 -
Thanks I am starting to doubt myself now too though.
Have threw the test out so I couldn't obsess. I have no symptoms except the late a/f, cramps and hot flushes.
I suppose I will have to wait and see what the morning brings. I would love to be able to cancel my fertility app, but cant help but think I will be rebooking it soon.
Babydust to you allxxxx2014 = New Year, New Me0 -
hello everyone
mennie welcome and congrats:D
jenny i am so sorry, the nurses at your hospital dont seem like they know what they are doing. BIG HUGS TO YOU.
tinkwings i thought you were happy from fb!:rotfl:about your daughter.
Well went to the hospital this afternoon and well basically nothing really happenhe just told me things i already know and he asked what i wanted to get out off this, 'well to now why its happened and to stop it again'
My blood test results came back and they were normal BUT need to have another blood test as they didnt have enough samples so gotta go back next week to have the test.
I asked him about my weight and he said i shouldnt worry, its only when i cant get pregnant and he said when i do get pregnant next go to my doctors when i am 6weeks to go to the early pregnancy clinic.
So i didnt really get anything out off this appointment but i suppose at least my blood test results were fine
Hope everyone is feeling good today:D0 -
(((((HUGS)))))) Jenny, hope you are ok, I can completely understand how you are feeling just now, take care and try not to get too worried0

Puzzledbubbles - I was 24 when I had my son, he is a lovely polite, well behaved, smart boy so I would say age is just a number, it's the parenting that counts
kitkat5566 - never mind lists for baby names I have all the baby equiptment- cot, pram, car seats, steriliser, changing bag, full wardrobe of maternity clothes etc been gathering it up over the last 2 years as we have planned to start trying for no 2 around now - he commented the other day that I need to stop and if anyone sees it they might think I'm planning to steal a baby !!
tinkwings - it could be good luck the start stop thing, we had a episode of this earlier this month due to my son asking me to go downstairs to turn over the tv/make him breakfast :oetc etc and I'd swear it worked, I've been getting mild cramps and I'm feeling sick and have developed a stronger sense of smell:j
balijay - re the pain when ovulating thing I've mentioned this a few times, came of the combined pill in Sept and now everytime I OV I swear I can feel if for 2 or 3 days, I can even tell which side it is - weird
For those who have said their Oh is to tired for BD - I had this also this month and after a frank talk with my hubby he divulged some details from a mans perspective
They find it hard to preform under pressure
They are visual creatures so maybe some Ann Summers would help
A change of scenery is also helpful
If he thinks we are just doing it to get a BFP it makes is difficult
I was also honest with him and said I found that the more I did BD the more I wanted to.... seemed to do the trick;)
Make them feel irrestible not machines !!:rotfl:Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
hello all. Just popping on as still a bit cruddy here but wanted to pass on my heartfelt sympathies to Jenny. Now, more than ever, I empaphise and hope that you really do get this sorted out for your sake. You've coped amazingly so far, so much better than I think I could.
Take care and love to all

Hi Jimbraund,
You might be better off asking in the pregnancy thread. Most of us on here have never been pregnant and those who have, well, they're still trying so it wasn't a positive outcome. You might get someone who knows over there.
Good luck
