Ellie, sorry to hear your news hun. As others have said, please take time out to grieve properly and more importantly, don't feel bad about it! Be prepared for it to hit you at random moments too - again let it flow, it's better to let it out than keep it all bottled up. And start trying again as and when you feel ready.

Not a lot going on here, CD10 for me, guilted DH into bd-ing last night even though he was 'tired'. Should be oving soon, been getting twinges in my left side for the last couple of days!

Went to see an osteopath this morning for help with the god awful back aches I get when the old witch is here, so I have been poked, prodded, pummelled and cracked to within an in of my life, could do with a nice lie down now, but stuck at work!
  • ellie, really sorry to read your post :( sounds like you are coping really well but like the others said there's nothing wrong with a good cry when you need it.

puzzled, i am 24. after hearing tons of people say all different things about when the best time is, i've just come to the conclusion that you just have to go with what is the right time in YOUR opinion! there are pros and cons to each option, none is the right one!

balijay i think it depends what pill you are on but a lot of them do stop you ovulating, that's how they work. others don't stop ovulation but prevent implantation of a fertilised egg.

things a lot better today, had no more "incidents" so feeling a lot happier, hopefully the next few weeks will pass uneventfully...
  • Hi all, I hope evryone is ok today?
Well I'm back from the hospital, and it's not good news - again!! There is still something there! They have taken some blood to check my hormone levels and will get back to me later on today! Feel very numb in amongst the tears! :(

Yup, I have a loads of lists of baby stuff...DH reckons I'm a mentalist but he'll be grateful for it all once we get our bfp:D
I have lists for baby names, things we'll need, things I'll have to talk DH round to, pro's/cons for re-useables, several options for me working instead of going back to work....OMG I'm a weirdo:o:rotfl:

I am glad I'm not the only one! I dont just have names, I have tonnes of websites saved with different ideas and advise on things, and lists of things that I will need to buy/ want to buy! I have some info on maternity leave/ going back to work/ not working but some of it I cannot make sense of! Think I will wait until it actually happens then research it all!

  • Hey all, I am just wondering if anyone knows what the approximate time scale is between ovulation and implantation?

Bd'd 3 times last week (2 that count :o:o:o) and ovulated approx the last time we Bd'd. Had cervical mucus (egg white consistancy stuff) for couple of days afterwards plus some cramps, so signs of ovulation there. Had more than the usual amount of discharge (sorry TMI) but not the stretchy stuff, this is the white stuff, since then. Not due AF until around the 10th of this month. Wondering when approx. I could expect implantation if it happens?

Not going to test until 11th/12thas I know there's no point, but it is very tempting as would rather know now....
  • Jenny HUGE ((((HUGORAMA)))) for you:( hopefully it'll be sorted once and for all now xxx

You're sensible in not testing too early:) found this quote for you
Implantation typically occurs 6 to 10 days after ovulation, or day 20 to 24 of a menstrual cycle. However, it can happen a few days earlier or later. In an average, 28-day cycle, ovulation occurs on day 14 (the first day of a period is considered day 1 in a cycle). Once fertilization occurs, the egg stays in the fallopian tube for 3 days before entering the uterus and begins to implant to the uterine lining.
Hope that answers your question x
