It's not funny OR cute - they're AWFUL names!!!!! Actually, no I take that back. On their own they're really nice names but together? For Christmas babies? No way!

I think I'd keep my mouth shut though

I'm kinda with Courgette on this one, except I think Angel is dreadful. Gabriel is fine, but not for a Christmas baby. How about suggesting Natalie or something more appropriate which I cant think of at the moment.

In fact, Gabriel and Natalie...hmmm I think that's a much better combination.

There are some dreadful names out there mind. I have heard that there is a wee girl in West Lothian called Pocahontas with a right Scottish surname like McGlinchey. I hope that it is an urban myth. Poor wean :(

Anyway, bedtime for me lovelies. Night night xx

Im still lurking and still talking with the OH about how to move forward, told a very good friend our "plan" yesterday and she put a bit of a dampner on things, but then she doesnt know how i feel or how OH feels or anything really ....

i think its very sad, but i may need to go back to not telling her things again, especially about ttc or even considering it as i dont think she will be happy for us either way.

    bah, never mind :)

I am going to make an appointment with the dr to ask about the coil and how to go about getting it removed and getting back to normal etc and hopefully he will have the answers i need. Does anyone have any problems with age? im 27 and half the world seems to think im too young for a child, the other half seems to think im almost too old? Very confuddling!

Anyway, im gonna stop waffling now, honest :)

Baby dust and hugs to all x

On a related note, for the last couple of months I've had a tiny bleed at ov time. What is this? It's brown as in old blood. Hardly anything, not worried, just wondered what it was
Dunno, might just be everything shifting around in there when you OV:confused:

I'm a recent lurker, and would like to join you ladies please!
Me & DH started trying to TTC in October, when we got back from honeymoon, and are now on Cycle 3. I'm on CD11 so will hopefully be OV'ing v soon - I bought some OV sticks from eBay so keeping my fingers crossed this will be the month for me - I'd love a Christmas BPF!!
Hi and Welcome:) Hopefully you're not here too long:) And the obsessiveness does ease up after a while.....honest:A

On a similar subject, has anyone else done this or is it just me? I have a list of possible names for a future baby (that I am still yet to conceive  grr!) my OH thinks I am nuts, however he still suggests names he would like lol.
Yup, I have a loads of lists of baby stuff...DH reckons I'm a mentalist but he'll be grateful for it all once we get our bfp:D
I have lists for baby names, things we'll need, things I'll have to talk DH round to, pro's/cons for re-useables, several options for me working instead of going back to work....OMG I'm a weirdo:o:rotfl:

There were a few more people I quoted but it's not done it for some reason:confused:
Anyhoo my friend with the names....I spoke to her Mum last night and her Mum agrees with us EXCEPT shes not going to tell her coz she lives too close and will be on hand to help when they arrive soooo she asked me to say something:eek: EEK!!!
So I phoned her last night and had a good old chinwag about it and although she was peeved at me not being excited(understandable tbh) she understood where I was coming from and said she'll think about it..although she does really like Gabriel for a boy:D So I got off really lightly with the pg hormones although think she'll probably rip her OH a new one:rotfl:

Puzzled totally know what you mean about the age thing but imo so long as you're emotinally ready and can support a family then $od everyone else:D

Didn't manage to bd last night:( NEED to tonight as I think it's last chance saloon for this month....might have to sneak some pro-plus into DHs coffee to keep him awake.....you reckon he'd notice?!?!:rotfl:

    Sticky babydust all round xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning girls. How is everyone doing?

Elliebobs really sorry to read your news - thinking about you.

I have a couple of dim questions re; ovulation... firstly, does being on the pill stop you ovulating? (just curious) and also can ovulating make you ache? I have ached in my lower abdomen for the past 2/3 days and believe I ovulated yesterday (CD14) due to EWCM. Anyone know?
Sorry to be so clueless - I have never paid the slightest attention to my cycle before!

Thanks, have a great day everyone x :D

    Morning everyone

Ellie so sorry to hear your news xxx

Puzzled I'm 28 and trying for number 3 so not sure what that makes me, one bit of advice though is to get used to nothing you do ever being right if you have kids seriously you will get judged for everything, my advice is take no notice what others think its only you and your partner and what you want that matters.

Confuzzled - I dont mind those names separatley its the together bit thats bad, especially when you have to call them in the park lol. Boys can be shortened to gabe though as a nickname and thats not so bad, I like holly for a girl too better than angel. You were brave to tell her your opinion glad she took it well.

Can I uninvite family that are meant to be coming for christmas if I dont want them too or is it gonna cause more problems than its worth? TBH they invited themselves in the first place I'm so not looking forward to it, thought about going away last minute just to get out of it.

Merfe - Wish I could do that do! My DH's Mum & Brother turned us down when they were invited over a month a go. Then on Sunday DH says his mum wants to know what she can do to help for Xmas lunch:mad::eek: I said I thought they weren't coming! He said they have decided to! Bloody cheek! I wish we could go away! But DH is on Duty from Xmas eve until 29th Dec  FAMILIES !

It is my understadning that you still OV when on the pill. Most pills work to make the lining etc not viable for conception. Well that is what i used to read in the info with my Pills. It should tell you in the leaflet in the packet how they work. I too had pains this month and I ahd my LH surge yesterday which would fit in with OV pains. Hope that is of some help :D

Not wierd at all :A . I have names in mind. Think we all do! DH & I talk about names quite often. We even looked a buggies last week & Cots in Toys R Us . I didn't like any buggies! Think I am getting old! They all seemed big & heavey to what i remember using when my daughter was a baby. Things change. :p
