I've lost my boots vouchers! I went to get them before popping to town the other day hoping to pick up the change bag but cannot find them anywhere!!! I reckon DH has put them in the recycling! argh! If I call them, do you think they'll send me more? I've seen the bag and although its not great, it is soooo much better than the rubbishy one i got free from them 4years ago for DD! I was really looking forward to getting it! Anything for free - that's me! lol

NikkiT - Good luck honey, hope you get out, i know i'd hate to be stuck in there for potentially days! You'd think they'd let you go and come back if anything else happens IYKWIM! Best of luck!

NCT Nearly new sales - do you need to be a member of the NCT to go to these things? or is it just that if you're a member you get in early?

My iron levels are falling according to mw the other day so just made a huge pot of chilli with loads of pinto/kidney/black eyed beans etc, apparently beans are high in iron! lets see if this works! lol

Kindof - get the chinese hun, play music that you love but he hates, take up the WHOLE sofa, and do whatever suits you, and give a good natured two fingered salute to dh and his mate

Ive made a cheese, potato and onion pie.... and then sister invited me out with her and her oh for pub meal.... argh! decisions decisions, i really need a shower though, and theyre going in about half an hour, no way i'll be ready in that time.

Kindof - if i figure out how to get to somewhere nearish to you, we could do something for a day if you like.....

Nikkit - fingers crossed for you, hope its a speedy labour for you....

Maureen - remember to have some vit c as well, it helps increase absorption of iron..... orange juice with dinner is a good one.... or sweet potato as a side dish

The nearly new sale was great- will be going to the one in March provided baby is here

I know that what i was told was rubbish, but the store I went into only had size 16 and below on the racks and they said that they didn't bother ordering much bigger in for the reason that most bigger women don't bother

Not too bad a day today, not felt too much movement, but I haven't stopped still all day.

Well, so it's a bit difficult for him to just leave. And it's hard to just say "tough, I'm leaving" as you don't want to P off too many people and limit chances of getting other work.

The women on that show were not nice, especially being so upset at only having boys, in front of their boys! Crazy.

And thanks, I feel really well! I think I'm going to miss being pg!

Boots changing bag - quite good, not quite as big as I thought it'd be but it looks good and prob best not too big so I don't fill it with stuff I don't need!

Ooh Nikki hope you are ok and they let you go home - either that or everything kicked off and you are now well on your way to holding bubs! And I'm not jealous at all of your potential queue-jump, just so you know!

I've hasd a lovely day, met for lunch with 2 girls from work. One was finishing at lunch time so we stayed and chatted for ages and that was nice. DH is going out to work in a minute but he's said he's going to tell them he can't do next Friday so hopefully won't be too bad after all.

Don't feel at all like I'm going to go into labour tonight so not feeling as upset today!

please may I ask advice about a birth pool? SJ or anyone else who's done any research on them... What's the advantage of a proper birth pool over a paddling pool with deep sides? Any other tips on what to buy?

You get into our sale 30 mins early as a member but different sales in different places work differently.

I expect baby will make a nuisance of itself after tea- dh is out collecting our chinese- duck pancakes, chinese roast pork, noodles, fried veg, chicken wings and prawn crackers for me and beany baby nom nom nom
