Good Morning all,
from 9.15pm for 7 hours had contractions for 3 - 5mins lasting 50 secs to 60 secs, using the contraction meter thing on my phone , used my tens machine, bouncy ball, paracetemaol, then at 4am it all stopped just like someone had turned a switch off,
went to bed at 5am and slept fro a few hours , to now get up to stabbing pains in my foof and mild pains nothing like last night though , which i have called MW and am seeing her at 12pm, then my scan at 3.20pm , as with my DD i was induced , i had contractions with her for about 5 hours then completely stopped , but was 4cm dilated , then they decided to break my waters and within 90mins she was born , now thats scaring me a bit that i may be dilated but not know about it.
On the buggy front , i have the quinny , which im loving even without little man here, but kiddiecare.com always seem to have some fab deals on buggies and next day delivery, dont forget quidco
Sj lovely pic , u are much bigger than me , prob as im only 5" , i will try take a pic later as i am 37 +5 today , if all goes well with MW and scan .Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
Morning ladies,
Nikkit how exciting, hope all goes well with the MW & scan & lots of labour vibes for you!
CAFC how rudeGood on Oxfam though, and good on you for wanting to give your time to a good cause. I saw an ad in our local Oxfam yesterday for someone to help out with eBay sales & was tempted but seems a bit pointless for a few weeks!
Gill we have one newborn sleepsuit, it goes up to 9.9lb so I'm hoping even if he's a whopper it'll be ok! In my mind I'm expecting a massive baby so figured no point buying newborn and have gone for 0-3 instead (think we have about 15/20 of those).
Redstar glad all's ok with baby
SJ that's crap about DH having to work in Derby
Twinkles I have no pram advice...ours is the M&P Joolz, nothing like what you're after! Only thought is that if you're anywhere near a M&P outlet, when we were at ours last they had loads of Pilko Pramettes going really cheap? I think the Loola is lovely too, we were considering it & you can often get good deals on it online. They quite often come up on our local Gumtree so might be worth looking at yours if you don't mind second hand?
Hope the last day is going well Kindof
Hope all's ok at the docs Som & how annoying having aquanatal cancelled
I'm so tired this morning, had an awful dream that I was arguing and shouting at my dad so kept waking up all night, and baby seems to be trying to fight his way out of my sidesPainful! I think he's moved to be side on as bump is really full and wide where before it was obvious he was head down
Hope the midwife says otherwise on Monday or at least hope all this pain is him trying to move himself back. It would be so typical, he's been head down since like 28 weeks!
I've got an abundance of mushrooms for some reason & dunno what to do with them, what can i make?Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
I EVENTUALLY posted my birth story......it was massive but it got lost!! so its a shortened one!!!

Moses basket sheets.....I have 5 and thats more than enough!!

Hola All!!!!
Really struggled getting out of bed this morning, not through laziness or sleeping but I was awake for an hour trying to find a comfy position to try and get myself up from..... felt like a beached whale, was getting shooting pains all through my hips, and ive somehow got a massive bruise down the front side of my right knee down to my shin......
But anyway, up and dressed now LOL
Not leaving the hosue today I dont think, drizzling and raining so perfect day to just spend indoors.....
Might try and print off some images for my scrapbook now we've got our printer..Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Thanks for the heads up on the DP sale on maternity wear, Ill be heading for there on Sunday.:) I received some Pampers MOCs through the post yesterday - might have something to do with your EDD as to when you get them???
Has anyone claimed their free Boots changing bag when buying Pampers Newborn nappies - I just wondered what it was like???:)
Cant believe Ill be 6months on Sunday!!!! Where does the time go?!?!?!?! Only bought 1 box of nappies and 2 multipacks of wipesOpinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -
Going to go & read now Meltdown
Haha CAFC I'm only just starting to get the beached whale feeling, was moaning at OH for sleeping on 'my side' yesterday - he was like no, you're on MY side. Turns out I was, woke up in the night last night to find him scrunched up and I still thought I had no space, so I must take up way more than I realise!!
Weather is pants here too, just about to stick the washing on & have a play around with some pics for the album OH bought for baby.
I've not claimed the bag Yorky but have heard lots of good things about itDon't worry about nappies & wipes, I've got 4 & a bit weeks left and have nappies but only 1 packet of wipes, the shops will still be open once baby arrives
Re: the coupons, not sure if you shop in Tesco but I got some nappie coupons from them too today, so you could combine & get freebies if you sign up to their baby club!
Bump pic hereCan't seem to get it to display properly? I think today is 35+4? Really struggling to keep track!
eta: Has anyone heard anything about clary sage oil? Just read that it can help to increase strength of contractions when massaged into bump/lower back...Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
ive still not received my voucher for free changing bag from boots.... am annoyed. last time i got my voucher within 1 week.....
ive been waiting ages now (well feels like it).... am tempted to sign DH up LOL
i feel like DH is starting to encroach on my space too, but he really is. he was all over my bump pillow last night, had to shove him off so me and bump could get on!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

I've got mine, it's basically just a black bag, with grey bits on, lots of pockets and a change mat in a pouch. Not as good as I expected tbh, and certainly not worth £29.99!!! I expected it to be full of goodies LOL
But it's free so I can't complain
Saz xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
