I'm cursing those new coop adverts - I had to go out and buy some ben and jerry's after seeing them!! Came away with 2 tubs coz I really wanted cookie dough and baby wanted phish food :)

I have the Graco Lemongrass :)

Aww I have some B&J's in the freezer at home nom nom nom

Thanks Som, I am dying to get him in it.

SJ - I will see your pic when I get home, its blocked at work

barkingsavingmad - yes I get very nervous when I dont feel anything for a while, but if I eat some ice pops or lay on my left side then he usually starts kicking

I hope it goes fast lol :)

I am leaving here at 3.30 and will not be returning till Jan 4th 2011 EEK! (I will of course be popping in with babybean once he is here)

Som - would you recommend the moses basket sheets from Moterhcare? we still need some and now we have vouchers for there we were going to get some

How many sheets do people have for the mattress of the moses basket? and how many sheets do people have to put over baby?

SJ - poor you with OH being sent so far away, why does he need to stay till the end of the shift? Does he have any say in it? My OH was supposed to be going into London next week for a 2 day training course, but his boss pointed out to their head office I would be 37 weeks then and may go into labour and they said he can do it in their unit as its a special reason. SJ didnt catch that programme till right at the end but what I did see was enough to make me think she was a right cow! Poor boys and hubby :( Oh and nice bump, you look really well too :D

gill - no issue getting hold of my emmas diary pack, just collected it from Lloyds. My previous pack I picked up from argos tho, have you tried there? Me and OH have same set up as you with the phoning/texting to say we are there safely, atm for me OH likes to know even on short journeys bless him.

Maureen - I'm like that too now am nearing end of PG, just cant warrant buying more mat clothes to only wear them for a few weeks. Only have a few and now am like eek! what do I pack in my hospital bag, cos then my wardrobe selection will be even smaller!

barksavingmad - yeay for two weeks hol, and I love catching up on here too, hate when we have slow days and not so many posts hehe. Im only on first baby but after 6 years am so greatful for her and will be the same if Im lucky enough to have any more, regardless of gender. Some people dont realise how lucky they are!

Kindof - woohoo for last day :D The mothercare sheets are great, if they fit! so check size first as not all baskets and matresses are the same and most folks assume they are. Your ok if there flat sheets tho its just the fitted variety and there are some lovely boys stripey blankets available atm in the blue car range, tho there not cheap! As for sleeping bags TK max and primark do some lovely ones for about £10.

Right 36 week check up with doc this morning, hope all is well, will probably have to have more iron accrding to the letter that came through. Off to see my friend perform in her musical tonight, only a small local production but ones have seen in the past have been fab, having Mac Ds before too :D Other than that nothing going on so may pop to Tesco while I have the car and check out frames. Might do my online shop too, quidco doing £10 cash back on first shop at Tesco which this would be and then there is a £10 off code when you spend more than £50 :D

Hmms thinking on that wont be ok, it would be ok if they were a little bit bigger but smaller is no good

Mam said I should just get cotbed sheets and fold them over instead

So now I need to measure my mattress (from Ikea) and see if the mothercare ones will fit (I bet they dont lol)

    Argh nightmare!

Think you may have to buy and try them kindof, I honestly cant remember. They will let you return them if ther not right tho. Matress should have their sizes printed on them save you measuring.

Twinkles- we have the maxi-cosi/bebe confort streety travel system and carrycot which we bought from kiddicare for £270 ish (without carrycot is £170 ish inc car seat). I love it- obviously haven't tried it with bubs, but have it set up at home :D the hard carrycot makes a lovely pram type top and the seat is reversable so can do both parent facing and away facing.
We wanted a carrycot that could, if we needed it to, go in the car as it has auto-fix anchors, but we don't plan on using it really.
It was also the only buggy that dh and I could put up and take down in seconds first time with no help:T

Trying to think where else I have bought clothes from- the inspire range at new look had some tops that were empire cut which I have and are v comfy and I also bought vest tops from their tall bit which still fit now at 37+2(!!!). i agree though that maternity ranges above a size 16/18 are pants. Early on I asked in mothercare why they only stocked up to a 16 in most things and the woman said that most larger ladies 'don't bother with maternity clothes- they just buy bigger as they don't tend to show as much' which is total rubbish and really upset me at the time.

I know where I got some other clothes from- Pumpkin Patch. Beautiful clothes and great friendly helpful staff :T

They only have patch maternity in certain stores- I drove to Nottingham to buy a dress that i had seen in the Leicester branch that they didn't have in the right size.

We bought some PP clothes at an NCT nearly new sale for a couple of pounds per item- brilliant quality, have washed up really well.
