KT - I'd just like to say that what the woman in Mothercare told you is complete tosh and the sizes do go bigger than 16! ok mostly only 20 but the odd item comes in larger. Im and 18 and showing loads. Never looked in PP for mat clothes, bit late now hehe.

Maureen - really want to go check out that web site, but think I might loose the rest of my day lol.

Nikkit - oh wow so exciting! Lots of easy labour vibes for you, hope its not too much longer now. Had my first foof pains last night not nice!

Gym - I keep having very odd dreams atm too, whats weirder for me is I very rarely dreamt before I was PG! Love mushrooms I would just do them with anything if it were me, what do you have in the house atm? Oh and your bump pic is fab, your way more compact than me a really good size :) No idea about clary sage am afraid.

Meltdown - will go read your birth story shortly :D

CAFC - eek for uncomfy sleep, I find my hips get really uncomfy and I have to rub them once I roll over to ease it think its the extra weight atm, that and I usually sleep on my front! Yeay for pics and printer :D Activity Village have a good selection of baby scrap book stuff if your book is fairly plain they have papers and all sorts, am using some of their valentines stuff for OHs V day pressie too :D

yorkgal - the boots bag is better than I'd thought it would be but wouldnt pay £29.99 for it! MIL has mine as friend had already bought me one, but would happily use it if not :) Oh and mine was just on the shelf to take home too.

Kindof - never heard about the flanalette sheets being too small!!! I think Id be pee'd at your OH too, totally unreasonable and selfish! No idea what to advise you other than try to talk to him, but I know that can be easier said than done.

1more - the Sainsburys pack is ok but not all that, I like the change mat tho and have swapped the one in my change bag for the freebie one. I goy mine when the nappies had a 1/3 off then used a £1 off MOC too so was a bargain.

Doc appointment went kinda ok this morning, she sent my urine sample away as there was a small amount of protein in it and have upped my iron tab intake. Bubs is measuring back on size again :D and her HB is fine, she is head down again and somewhere between 1 and 2 5ths engaged atm :D

Walked to charity shop in town while waiting for my iron script to be filled, picked up a fairy story book for our collection :D After that went to Tesco to get some milk and bread, picked up some small bits for OH's V day pressie, looks like its gonna be a small hamper now lol. Also some 2010 pic calenders reduced down to £1 to make into Mothers day pressies for mum and MIL, also plan on making them a book mark and fridge magnet each too (with baby pics in :)) so M day all sorted for them, even if it has to be slightly belated. Popped into M&S next to Tesco too, has anyone else seen there "my unusual friends range", its soooo cute :D

Right sorry for another long post, off for lunch now... what to have?

Thanks CAFC, I know its just sad cos he knows how I feel :(

I dont know if he is just rebelling as such till baby is here? cos other than this he is an amazing partner

    Thats possible...

He might be slightly freaking because when baby is here he'll need to be a total adult, responsible to and for someone else.... so I can see why he might wanna cling to some nostalgia before bubs arrives?
Maybe just ask him why he does it? :(
You're north east arent you hun? Im sure Beenie mentionned it.....

Just had my brekkie/lunch and done the washing up and now off to check out some babby pics

  • Kindof (((Hugs))) hope he sees sense and makes it up to you by giving lots of TLC,sounds like he's being very selfish but yes, I agree he's prob making the most of his last month before Elliot arrives:cool: (which is no excuse but I bet he's a bit panicky and maybe he thinks this is something he should be doing b4 baby comes???)

Gym,lovely bump- you'll have baby and you'll be wearing your pre-preg clothes home from hosp,Guaranteed! :j
And grr at OH waking you up to stroke bump- mine does that too but usually in the middle of the night:mad:

Good luck for your scan this avo Nikki-hope all was good at mw.
I have just been to see her for 28w apt,and am all happy now, babies HB was so strong and was lovely to hear, no probs with wee, took bloods for iron, had a lil chat about soft markers and my 32w scan apt and she measured my bump and has plotted me on the 90th centile line.

Going to Franky and Bennys tonight with friends and am soo looking forward to it now (already know what I'm going to order:p) even though I am STUPIDLY tired and am designated driver;)
    Busy mummy of 4.:j

Som - yeah there isnt much to say, he is well !!!!ed that I have posted on here, but I needed to vent somewhere.

Yeah I didnt think they were small cos they are way big enough for my mattress if the measurements online are correct, it was just one or two of the reviews said they were too small?

Well we've spoke, he says he is really sorry that he upset me, and that I feel lonely living where we do where I dont know anyone.

He said he is still going to go to his friends tonight cos it was already planned, but he promises he will stay in from next weekend.

    So lets see

Sorry if I killed the thread lol

Kindof - the people that are prob complaining there too small are those with cotbed matresses trying to use them as bottom sheets, they wouldnt fit very well then as those matresses are 140 x 70 so not much over hang. Maybe your OH will realise how much he is upsetting you then by knowing you posted about it!

Choccy - Pleased your MW visit went well, its always good to know bubs is doing fine :D V jelous of your F&B meal tonight I love that place, drive carefully too x

Had left over turkey stew for lunch, that way wont over do it at Mac Ds later hehe. Need to go figure out what to wear tonight, tbh cant be bothered getting changed my yoga pants are way too comfy. Ordered from Tesco on line, spent way less than usual even with discount codes and paying for delivery :D Just hope what we have in the house now will last till Tuesday!
