Is that a peace offering? Lol
Well I only had the TINIEST bit of ice cream left. Had a chocolate milk too but want something else. Not sure what though. Think the main problem is making it. Hmmmm. Everything I can think of I could quite happily eat but can't be bothered to go make it. Doesn't help that my kitchen is cold0 -
SJ and Gymfiend - love your bump pics. will deffo try and get mine done at weekend.
Re the boots changing bag - it's ok for a freebie and will be a good spare. I used a £1 off pampers voucher (the one that came with the free changing bag voucher) at the same time so only paid £2.something and got the free bag too. All my local boots have had loads of changing bags - it's in a box either aqua or pink, but the bag is the same inside.
Yay for no more work kindof! I got a moses basket bundle from toys r us for £14.99. It has two fitted sheets, two flat sheets and two cellular blankets. My mattress is a tiny bit smaller than yours and the fitted sheets are too big for it (think they're crib size really as it's a bale for moses baskets and cribs) but I'm just going to pull the tight underneath and pin them if needs be. Once the mattress is down they seem fine tho.
Lots of labour vibes for Nikkit
Day got off to a bad start this morning. Was having one of those mornings anyway when you just can't get going so was a bit late leaving the house. Got into the car and it wouldn't start! It's a 4 year old Honda Civic and is always super reliable so was a real shock. Got DH out of the shower the come and look and he decided the battery had gone! I had to phone a taxi which miraculously came within 5 mins so I made it in time to get the shop open for 9.
DH took the car to a Honda garage and they couldn't find anything wrong. They've charged the battery up and said it's holding the charge but I'm really paranoid that it will happen again now. Guess I'd better get up a bit earlier tomorrow!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
hello all, labour vibes, sticky vibes to all in need of them.
Gosh SJ can't believe you are due in less than a couple of weeks! How are you feeling?
Kindof - getting close for you too!!
What's happening with EA?
I must check the EDD list to see who has given birth recently as haven't been looking at this thread.
Hugs to all in need. My daughter chuckled for the first time today and that is the most fantastic thing everTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
:hello: Hi Karen! Been lurking over on the parent thread and nice to hear you doing well! Bless Tegan chuckling - bet that was amazing! I'm feeling good thanks. I can't believe I'm due so soon either! It's gone really fast!
EA is good although I think she's ready to meet her LO now!0 -
god i feel huge now......
a huge bowl of ice cream and two jam doughnuts...
and now im watching the 8 girls/wanting a boy thing....
I just want to slap them all.....
I feel for their kids, but I also really feel for their husbands, the whole "you need to give me MY girl"....
I know its biology etc, but I cant imagine holding that over DH... and making him feel like such a failure....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC I know it angered me too. I wish I had donuts! I had a ham and cheese sandwich instead! Maybe I should have had the pineapple in the dining room though.....0

Just saw three2be's birth story - congrats if you are about
Can't believe only 14 weeks ago I was on this thread ready to give birth - luckily my contractions started on my EDD
My sister has just had a little girl too, called Daisy, so hopefully the two cousins will spend a lot of time together. altho the 350 miles between them might make things difficult....Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
Yep nows that time when you should be on pineapples, curries, DTD, RLT anything to help bring on labour (prob helps psychologically too). definitely try and get plenty of sleep tho, I know its easier said than done, but my experience meant that I didn't sleep for 3 nights! Then the sleepless nights started lolTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
Sleep is no problem for me!! I'm currently averaging 10-11 hours per night *smug* I'm also on 3-4 RLT per day, calcium, EPO and DTD as often as I can manage. Oh, and bouncing on my birth ball every day too! I really can't wait now! My friend keeps telling me to get on the castor oil but I'm not really up for that!
ETA Daisy is a lovely name and that would be lovely if they could grow up as friends.0
