  • Hi everyone,
I was given some clary sage oil for burning when I was pregnant with DD; if I remember rightly it was for use at the very end for encouraging bubs to make an appearance - I definitely remember warnings about not using it too early.

Sorry I've been so rubbish at keeping up with you all :o:)

please may I ask advice about a birth pool? SJ or anyone else who's done any research on them... What's the advantage of a proper birth pool over a paddling pool with deep sides? Any other tips on what to buy?

    Lots of love, Weezl xxx

Nice to see you over here! Main things I can think of are the bottom is more cushioned, the material seems more durable (although you know about mine so maybe not so much!), the sides should be much sturdier for leaning on / sitting on to get in and out and they have handles in convenient places for holding onto.

I'm not sure if I'd trust a normal paddling pool. Suppose it would depend on the pool though.

Maureen - remember to have some vit c as well, it helps increase absorption of iron..... orange juice with dinner is a good one.... or sweet potato as a side dish :)

Oh! Totally didn't think about that! Will have a glass just now and hope that it helps! Dont know how much DH will appreciate all the beans ive just eaten - he's going out for a bit just now but reckon he might not want to come back in case of smells! lol IYKWIM re the beans!

KT - thanks for the info re the nearly new sales, i couldn't tell from the website if everyone needed to be a member to go or just to get in early.

Just looking at all the yummy stuff you all have been having for dinner... think i'm gonna have myself a mars ice cream bar! Dont remember ordering them from ASDA but it would seem i did cos they delivered them this morning! lol

    have a good nite everyone,
    mo x
