  • Hi ladies anyone watching '8 boys and wanting a girl' on C4

I've just turned it on! Imagine being that 4th son and watching this back in years to come and thinking he wasn't wanted :(

Actually SJ that is one of the prams I've been looking at on ebay. What a bargain your mil got!:T

For what it's worth then (as obviously i haven't had a baby on it yet) I like it a lot!!

Lol I know what you mean I swear being pregnant makes me irrational about money. Thankfully the pram is a gift from my mum (I know - she spoils me!). The Petite Star Citybug is a very good price for a travel system. I think Graco do a good priced system too.

I also have the Graco Quattro tour sport with the car seat and carry cot. was a bargain on kiddicare at the time.

I'm cursing those new coop adverts - I had to go out and buy some ben and jerry's after seeing them!! Came away with 2 tubs coz I really wanted cookie dough and baby wanted phish food :)

SJ - I was another one confused by your avatar on the first post, funny Id never really noticed how much attention I payed them till now.

Kindof - love the Donald Duck suit too, mega cute :D

Red - glad you got checked out and all is ok, I rolled my car 6 years ago and totally wrote it off so can sympathise with your earlier bad car crash being much worse!

Twinkles - I've got the new 2010 model XLR, anything 2009 and after takes the carry cot otherwise they dont have the attachments for the carry cot and therefore not safe.

DP - no update on step sis atm, she was still in a coma (medicaly induced one) and they were trying to ween her off the muscle relaxents but she keeps biting the ventilator, she is stable and under 24 hr supervision as still in ICU :(

CAFC - that woman is just downright rude, there was no need for that at all! Good to hear Oxfam were a dif story.

sonee - yeay for DP bargains :D

nikkit - hope OH likes his pressies, its my OHs birthday next week and he still doesnt know what he wants so have no idea what to get him!

Well drove the hour to Aquanatel got changed and got in the pool had been chatting to the other ladies for about 2 minutes when the pool attendant tells us its cancelled as the instructor is sick!!! Gah, anyhoo got a credit note so free next week and had a swim for a bit so not a total waste. Think am jinxed tho, forgot to mention that our antenatal was cut short yesterday as MW had to dash of to a emergency home birth! So with the parking ticket am hoping thats my 3 for the week!

Dog is still shattered from his haircut earlier he has been upstairs on our bed since 5.30! think OH is gonna have to carry him out for his walk lol.

  • Well I'm upset now. DH is working in Derby tomorrow, and possibly next few Friday nights too so he'll be 80 miles away and out of the house for 10 hours instead of being in Leeds, 10 minutes away and only out for 6 hours :(

In Leeds he can just leave if I text him to say I need him to come home but in Derby he'll have to wait until the end whether I need him home or not.
  • Not surprised your upset, not great timing really is it.How long wd it take him to get back to you if things were to kick off?First labours tend to be longer, mine was 26 hrs so plenty of warning.Big huggles hun x

SJ - I'd be fuming if my OH was going to be away so close to my due date. You'll have to make sure little one comes on a Sat :)

Has anyone else had trouble getting hold of the 27 weeks bump to baby pack from Emma's Diary? My local lloyds pharmacy have none in stock and neither do either of my two local Argos :(
