CAFC that's so rude!! I just don't know what else to say, what a witch. Hope you are ok.
Uh oh, I think my belly button may be popping out
Right off to get tea ready now even though I'm full up from mini eggs.
Kindof, yeah me and DH spent about an hour doing a Where's Wally game on the internet earlier and after we finished I saw a thing where you can make a Where's Wally type avatar so I made a Where's Sarah! Lol.0 -
Its really just sad the more I think about it, coz all the volunteers ive met in there have been really sweet and then the manager is a witch.....
I thought last night that my belly button seems to be getting shallower....... do they normally pop out?
May have a house viewing this weekend, and we're going to see those really cheap houses next wednesday tooWealth is not measured by currency0 -
oooh meltdown point has posted her birth story

How many sleepsuits have you got for when baby is newborn? I've only got a couple atm but just thinking I potentially won't see many people in first week or so so will def need enough to do 1/2 weeks.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
CAFC it depends, some pop out and some don;t. I was hoping mine wouldn't.
Gill I have about 12 in newborn size but all are gifts or from an ebay bundle. Some newborn sizes only go up to 9lb (others to 10lb) so depending how big bubs is at birth they might only last literally a couple of weeks (or less if you have a whopper) So I wouldn't buy too many in first size!!
I'm really going to make tea now!!0 -

...and having been in Next earlier this evening, their new baby is only up to 7.8lbs and up to one month is up to 10lbs. Little bit smaller than some shops, just as a warning!0 -
i thnk we've only got about 6 in newborn, and then we've got some vests/joggers and cardis...
My pregnancy mag said not to bother with too much in newborn, one because of the size thing Esio mentionned and because they move into 0-3 so quickly, and it suggested you're better off with more 0-3......Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
hi all, just been catching up, after a busy few days!
Nikkit hope that you have a better night tonight and bubs comes along quickly, sounds like you're having a mare at the mo! it'll all be worth itoh and i know about the Peter Andre interview, how mean!! Dwight Yorke makes me really angry too
Kindof you have lovely colleagues, those presents are gorgeous, they obviously really care about you!
CAFC that sucks about the mean lady, sounds like she's just a bit snooty, take no notice it's her loss
Redstararnie - car crash sounds awful, are you alright? As someone else said make sure you get checked out by MW/Doc... i was in a really bad car crash last March and they can make you really nervous afterwards, feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it, it took me ages to get over mine (although the personal injury money helped)
SJ please can you come and cook for us? That lasagne sounded yum and king prawn stir fry mmmMMMM
Som how is your step sis doing?
Can't remember who said about is before 20 weeks too early to buy stuff, but i don't think so at all, just go for it if you want!
Went on the One Born Every Minute website, and they have tons of birth/pregnancy videos so I'm just watching them one after another and they make me cry loads (just cos it's amazing, not cos of the pain). Quite good to see what it's actually like rather than on Knocked Up or whateverdef gonna watch the programme!
well I think I'm being a bit stupid, but I think i have felt some "flutterings" a few times in the last few days, i might just be making it up but it's in the right place etc. Just seems really early though so it's probably just trapped wind... nice
Had a gross ASDA pizza for tea - not good.
Have thrown up every single day since Friday, grrr!!! And the worst thing is how EVERYONE just expects you to not be at all sick anymore because you're past 12 weeks. oh well i do feel a lot better though and my headaches have gone, yay :j Did buy the 4head stuff but haven't had a chance to use it now!
right long rambly post over now, hope everyone's having nice evenings x0 -
Evening everyone,
Thank you all for your thoughts. I saw the MW this afternoon, as I happened to be going for blood tests anyway, so I told her what had happened and she had a good feel around for baby and listened to the heartbeat again, and reassured me that she felt he was fine.
Dear Prudence, I'm really sory to hear about your crash and thank-you for your offer to talk. I'm actually not too bad, I was initially shaken up but I think I've gotten over that. I did have quite a bad crash a couple of years ago when I wrote off my husband's car after skidding on black ice and I was really affected by that and found it hard to drive again, so in comparison this wasn't so bad. Sorry to hear about the sickness too - to be honest, I found the worst weeks for me were between 13 and 16 weeks when I seemed to be throwing up quite regularly. Personally I think the twelve weeks thing is a myth!
My daughter seems a lot better this afternoon, but I'm keeping quite a close eye on her to be sure.
Kindofagilr - what lovely presents, they must be a really nice bunch of people.
CAFC - I can't believe how rude that manager was, but at least you won't have to work with her. I hope Oxfam works out for you. Years ago I volunteered at Barnardo's and I loved it.
SJ - Know what you mean about the mini eggs, I bought a bag earlier and I can hear them screaming out my name - not sure how much longer I can resist!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Stir fry was good actually, competely from scratch too I know what I'm eating is all good for me. I made noodles for DH but I just had the veg and prawns seeing as I didn't even feel at all hungry!
Did anyone see Karen's birth on Shameless? That was possibly the most ridiculous tv birth I've ever seen.
I love Asda pizza! But only the stonebake base ones.redstararnie76 wrote: »SJ - Know what you mean about the mini eggs, I bought a bag earlier and I can hear them screaming out my name - not sure how much longer I can resist!
They're little bu99ers those mini eggs!! And glad bubs is ok
DH has had work cancelled for tomorrow night. But, he has maybe got alternative work however it's in Derby. We can't really afford to lose his wage but I don;t want him to go that far away0 -

I'm having a buggy crisis.I've spent the whole avo and eve looking on ebay at buggys/pramettes.I was borrowing a pram off my friend but with 3 wks to go it looks like it has fallen through.I have the xlr techno maclaren for my 3yr old but have discovered that mine isn't compatible with the carry cot, something to do with the yr it was produced. So now I have to find a new pram as cheap as poss.**goes to bang her head against a brick wall and sob
I really like the pramettes that lie flat like mama and papas and silvercross do but even on ebay they are pushing my budget.
Can I be a pain and ask what buggys/prams you have chosen plse?I nd to research! There was a list at one point but I suspect it is out of date now.Help!**panic panic:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010
