Jake & Bradley go lovely together SS :) I really like the name Jacob/Jake, but have never mentioned it, so who knows where she got it from!!

Nikkit the Peter Andre interview was awful wasn't it, the poor man should just be left alone, it's never going to be comfortable when your ex wife remarries the last thing he needs is it shoving in his face like that.

Oh no Redstar, hope your daughter gets over the accident quickly :(

Ahh Kindof your work mates sound really lovely, what fab presents :D

Have you tried Ikea for a photo frame Som? Not sure if you're close to one but ours usually has millions of different sizes!

    KT that's brilliant :D

Yummymummy I can't say I experienced it but every pregnancy is different, hopefully someone else will be along soon who has, x

Just back from Tesco, picked up a couple of packets of formula milk and some cotton wool, I'm getting closer to being ready haha. Also found on my door mat my confirmation of maternity allowance, wahoo :D Also just booked tickets to go & see the History Boys @ the theatre next week, hope it's not too uncomfortable! Thought it'd be nice to spend an evening out with OH though :)

yummymummy - I had all kinds of general aches and pains early on but would say if your at all concerned to see your doc.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D
  • Yummymummy- I've had various aches and pains too. Some have been due to being very constipated and windy and others have been because of all the stretching and things I believe. As long as it doesn't get unbearable or last too long I haven't been concerned too much. I read something the other day about ligament pain around about this time in pregnancy with your belly getting bigger, so maybe it's just that. :)
  • Gymfiend did it take long for you to hear about your confirmation of MA. I will be applying for this as soon as possible and want it to start at the earliest I can have it, but just wondered if it takes long to come through? Though I have a while to wait yet hehe.

Nope not long at all :) Though the forms were a pain in the bum and very complicated with all my self employment info, think it took me about a week to fill them in! I heard back within a week and then sent off the final form to confirm dates and have heard back from that within 10 days with confirmation of the pay date :D

  • Ah lovely. Have to say I'm kinda worried about it but I hope I won't have issues getting it. Have been registered self-employed for the last couple of years and have been paying my class 2 national insurance contributions so I hope I am entitled to it.

Must admit, I b*ggered up and didn't pay my class 2s properly, so had to make a lump sum payment before applying for mat allowance, and had no problems :) So should think you'll be fine!

I couldn't resist nipping into dorothy perkins today to take a peek at the maternity section, I managed to find 2 pairs of pyjamas 1 cotton pink and grey for £7 and another silky peach with black polka dots for £3, slippers for£3 and a pair of bootcut maternity jeans for £3 which were originally £34.99.Looks like they have further reduced all sale items so those looking for maternity wear might find some bargains and the normal sizes are really generously cut too -some lovely tops and baggy cardis perfect for pregnancy .I've put my pjs away for hospital.

Gymfriend great news about your MA.

Yum mum not sure about the pain, as others have sait it could well be constipation or stretching but to be on the safe side can you give your MW a call?

I really need to stop eating mini eggs! DH has just gone out to football and I opened a bag he bought me earlier and it's almost finished! Oops! I'm supposed to be getting dinner ready for when he gets home too and I know I'm not going to be hungry for it now! Shame cos it'll be really nice; king prawn stir fry!

    Cute nappy wrap KT!
