mmm...fish and chips :P
Talking of sleeping bags...they're great!
Didn't use one until lil one moved to the cot from the moses. Their sucha saver when it comes to sleep as the baby never wakes from getting too cold as it'll keep lil one constantly snug. When my little boy was a baby he used to wake from kicking the sheets off and getting too cold...then we got the grobag and it helped with his sleeping routine:smileyheaMummy to my lil' man born '05:smileyhea:j Baby boy due May 2010 :j0 -
convent - I think you're before me, wont your 20 week scan put you closer to 21 week?
I was 19 wk +5 at mine last thursday and have 138 days left to go....
As for buying stuff, Im really lucky that I havent paid for a thing on that list. My mum is the queen of charity shopping, and then theyve got the other bits like cot and travel system for us...if it hadnt of been for them, and everything theyve got already, I'd be in a real panic over it all..... But i think a lot of that is down to my quirks of needing to plan and have it all set out, and i need to know where i am, what im doing, have everything washed twice etc...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Cellular blankets are great. When my sister was a baby she had a massive one that become her comforter. She took it everywhere and as it got dragged about my mum had to gradually cut it smaller to take off the edges that were all destroyed. It ended up as a little square of blanket the size of a hankie by the time she agreed to give it up
I've learnt to crochet since being pregnant so I'm making all my own blankets which I'm finding very satisfying0 -
SJ - not baby related but wondered if you knew anywhere you can get toffee chips (rather than choc chips for baking) and hope I'm not being dizzy and you are the one who makes cupcakes!!!0

I SO wish I could do that!! My nanna made blankets for dd but sadly isn't around anymore, so although they'll get reused, bump won't get it's "own" like we all did0 -

I just watched Marley & Me and was crying through most of it! All my eye make up has come off cause i was crying so much lol.
Kindof - Thank you for looking!Your a star. Im now super tempted to email asda and point out the typo lol.
We have 4 sleeping bags and 3 cellular blankets, but my house is freezing so i might need to use a combination of blankets and sleeping bags.

Cafc.... i am due on the 13th june so def a day behind you! At my scan i wil be 20 +4. Was ignoring the days as that is soooo scarey!
My folx want to buy everything they can (or what we will allow them too) but they are also being very reserved at the minute. They have been looking but not bought anything yet but i think once the scan is out the way there will be no stopping them!!

I know, I feel very lucky!! I can get comfy and I'm not too hot and I've not had any heartburn. Sometimes I don't even feel pg. Then I get a BH and it all comes flooding back!
Didn't set the pool up, going to do that tomorrow I think. Going to inflate it in the living room, as that's where I want it, then try and move it into the dining room out of the way. If We can't get it through then it'll just have to stay in the living room!0
