Maureen think you should be ok as you had the pox as a child and should be immune, best to ring your MW and check though.

I had to have blood test's early on in preg as it was suspected my Mum had shingles but they came back immune after having chicken pox as a child

I was having a moan about not sleeping and being on iron tablets before weekend and sorry can't remember who asked what iron tablets I am on but its ferrous fumarate 210mg 3 times a day ,well I have felt that bad with constipation I have stopped taking them till I can see GP or midwife .

I can't belive how much stuff i have bought in 2 days for baby feeling quite good but have done it sooo differnt this time around finding I am getting a buzz by getting stuff cheap and from ebay gonna aim to get everything with my £190 pregnany grant ,will do a list of what I have bought and how much paid soon if anybody want's to see it x

jopsey , i was on iron tablets, and how awful they make me feel , when i was in hospital seeing consultant last week she advised me to go down to one a day and eat lots of food with iron in , i.e red meat , wholemeal bread, green leave vegetables, corn flakes ,dont drink tea to much as it absorbs iron , almonds , dried apricots sultanas , but also there is some syrup herbal stuff which doesnt make you constipated or black poo, its from H & B and its BOGOHP, It this stuff Floradix - Floradix Liquid Iron Formula
when i get into town i will be getting some as it quotes

    - Non-constipating liquid formula

    - Highly absorbable iron gluconate

    - Vitamin C to increase iron absorption

    - No preservatives, colourings or flavourings

    - Suitable for vegetarians

£8.99 for 1 , but at buy one egt one half price £13.49 for 2 bottles and should last 2 months HTH
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Tink- So very sorry about the news. I'm lost for words.

Cafc- I hope your feeling better too hun x

Well I have a million bits and pieces to do today and can't be bothered with any of them. Plus it's so dreary outside it feels like the middle of the night, I hate that! Started on the Lactolose last night though and thought it tasted rather yum. Was preparing myself for a shocking taste so was presently surprised :D

    Morning :)

I was up all night constantly drinking water and going to the toilet. I started looking at the clock each time i got up to have a drink and it was every 15-30minutes

Then the diabetes MW called and woke me up at 9:30am lol.
But i have to go and have a GTT on Friday at 9am.

She said i should be there for about 2 hours waiting around so i might bring a book and my DS for fun as OH will be at work.

Oooh i completly forgot and only remembered cause i looked at my phone calender, but im booked in to have an indian head massage and a facial tomorrow :D Its an hour long and only £20! :money:

Family are horrid aren't they? Know it alls. My mum has been staying with us this weekend and can't stop complaining about the state of the house. She's currently cleaning my garden! My SIL is also always full of good advice and I can't even begin to describe my nephew.

OMG I would kill my mam lol

MIL is banned from coming in our house when we arent here, she came in once to get some boxes and then had the nerve to go on and on and on and on about how the house was messy (it totally wasnt, there was some dishes needed doing and it maybe needed hoovering) and how she always kept a clean and tidy house, OH was having a go at her on the phone and I am ranting and raving in the background saying "OH SHE KEPT A CLEAN HOUSE DID SHE??? DID SHE WORK FULL TIME DID SHE!!! NO SHE F-ING DIDNT!" LMAO so yeah she doesnt come in here anymore

She felt really bad the next day and made us a cake to apologise, cos she realised that even if someone's house isnt as tidy as you would expect it to be you just dont say it!!!!

There are plenty of things I could say about her house ... but I wont lol

I mean we had only been in our house a few months and were still getting into a routine of things.

Som - What a bargin, I dont know whether to get a TENS, do people recommened them?

Gill - I'm the same, Ive managed to get away with two non wired bra's from asda, but obv I know I need nursing bra's, we have a 'sadie the bra lady' here in ashington she's supposed to be very good (just local though I think so you's won't have heard of her) so I am going to go and get them from there when the time comes, not too long now eek

I am so sorry to hear that Tingwings xxx

EA - Is Pokemon good? Ive never faniced it lol

(((hugs))) CAFC, thats like me, I burst into tears last night in bed dont ask me why lol

EA - Yay for head massage

FART!!!!! I can hear the bin men outside and I just looked out the window and OH forgot to put the bin out this morning, and I am sitting on the sofa with a nightie on and no bra, NO WAY I am running out there after them!

So much to do today and I cant be arsed I AM REALLY TIRED :(

OH is fnishing work at 12, I need to go in the bath and wash my hair, I need to do a shopping list (for our weekly shop) and the house needs a tidy so OH can hoover, and we have antanatal 2-4 its the first one we have gone too

They have been on the last two weeks but OH couldnt make the first two and I didnt want to go by myself, next weeks is the breast feeding one which I wanted to make sure I made it to

I am 34 WEEKS today EEK, 2 cups of RLT and starting on the calcium and EPO EEK  I'm kinda scared for some reason lol
