I really begrudge spending money on bras!! Just bought 2 maternity bras for £22 from mothercare. Thought about getting someone to fit them but there was just an uninterested young girl wandering around the department. Did it myself but the strap is cutting into me now :(

Was really disappointed with the selection as well. The one I was in last week had loads of choice, with a lot in the sale at just £5 each (I was too tired to try on tho doh) but this one only had a few styles, all at full price. It was really disorganised as well and all the nursing bras were muddled in with maternity so I kept taking the wrong ones in the fitting room!

Got a moses basket bale from toys r us - £14.99 for 2 cellular blankets, 2 fitted sheets and 2 flat sheets. Seemed like pretty good value to me. Treated baby (myself!) to the classic winnie the pooh changing mat from mothercare as well :)

A quick question - for anyone who's got fitted moses basket sheets. Do they actually fit the mattress properly? The ones I've got are quite a bit too big (they say for pram/crib/moses basket on packaging) and I don't know if I should take them back and get some smaller ones from somewhere.

Gill i think they are just an average size as there are so many different sizes of moses baskets and prams. it's usually best to go by size rather than just pram/crib description.

OK that makes sense to me but don't know about anyone else lol

gill - at mothercare we sell 2 size moses baskets one fits the sheets the other not so well, causes untold probs! which MC were you in for bras today? Bargain on the toys r us sheets x Oh and I hate the price of MC bras too, even with discount there way over priced, have only ever bought mine in the sale.

EA - that dress is tres cute and a fab price, oh and I saw those PJs too, real nice :D

32b - bummer on the lappy front :( I have a lappy but as the desktop is always on its so much easier to just jump on that.

Nikkit - thanks, was so chuffed with the TENs have been keeping an eye out for a few days now and they always seem to go for alot more hence why we were gonna get a new one, but this is way better :D

Avon lady just delivered the MUM neclace OH ordered for me, he's putting it away for me not sure for when but as baby is due 4th March, my birthday is 11th and mothers day is 14th wont have long to wait any way. Hmmm not sure if the sheets were such a bargain now as they don't fit :( Think I'll take them back and measure my mattress...don't really know what to do for the best.

I was in the Altrincham branch, last week I was in the Team Valley branch which was much nicer. I think they've tried to pack too much into this one as it had a clarks concession, a photo place and early learning centre concession, so it doesnt leave enough room for the actual mothercare stuff!!

EA - forgot to say yes have heard of warren james :) Check out amazon for charms if its a silver braclet they have some bargains atm :D

Gill - we have all the concessions in our store but still have fab stock and well organised. Think its just a badly managed store by the sounds of it, either that or they have stock/delivery issues!
