please dont worry , stress is not good any time especially early pg , just take things easy , and dont forget u could always see gp tomorrow, but please everybody is different so just rest , alot of people say pink and red shows and cramp pains are to worry about brown is normal , especially if your period is due around now , its just ur body re adjusting, this is not proffesional advise,
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Thank you CAFCGirl...I've just been running around like a headless chicken the past 24 hours!

Still getting spotting but at the moment it's still very much brown, so fingers crossed.

    Thanks again x

    Hello folks!!! :-)

Sorry that I've not been around for a while, but been up to my ears with work/life and not had time to catch-up with you all.

However, we had the 20 week scan last week and wanted to make you aware that it all went to plan and everything is moving in the right direction :D

Also, we've now started to buy stuff and need to get a pram/pushchair and were hoping for some advice. We've considered the Silver Cross 3D Pram and also the Mothercare Spin.

Any comments about the above or positive views on other options would be welcomed. Ideally it would be a pram/pushchair and also include a car seat.

I've heard the Silver Cross 3D is quite bulky to fold down, and it doesn't come with a car seat does it?

I've got the Graco Mosaic travel system and i like it because it folds umbrella style as opposed to in half, so fits in my small Clio boot. Bad points are - shopping basket too small, and a random one - i can't put a shopping basket on the handles, not that you're meant to :rotfl:

    Thanks for the reply nikkit.

Hopefully somnium will read this reply, but if not I'll drop her a PM.

With regards the Team Blue/Pink............................we've decided to join Team-Find-Out-On-The-Day :D

I can see both sides of the reasoning for finding out or not finding out, but for us, we just find the whole leaving it as a surprise a bit of a thrill!!

    Hiya Beenie,

No the 3D doesn't come with the a car seat, but you can buy one to complete the set, the same with the MC Spin. Sorry that my original post didn't make that clear.

We're just after a full set if that makes sense.

we've gone for the graco quattro tour travel system from babies r us, and , bought the carrycot seperately for £39.99. It came with the car seat and base for £199.99, and if i remember rightly comes with rain cover as well.....

it was ideal for me due to handle height, and car seat was light enough for me to carry with baby inside, and folds down easily.....

Congrats on Team On The Day.... part of me wishes I had that patience but I just dont....
