  • I think so! Got my buggy on monday and that was the last thing i needed unless i have forgotten anything
I actually packed my hospital bag last night too finally :rotfl: I really need to find my notes though not sure where i have put them :rotfl:

I still dont have a birth plan but im thinking maybe i will just go with the flow i never had one with the girls neither and both their labours went ok :rotfl:
They only thing i really wanted was the HB which they have said i aint allowed to have so i dont really care about anything else now :( As long as i am in and out of their asap i dont really mind :rotfl:

    Are you ready??[/QUOTE]

I think so, just need to pack a smallish bag in case I have to go to Hospital. Have done one for the baby already (just my change bag with a few bits in). Apart from that think i am about there, have had lists and lists for ages, so I should be! Must try and fit the base of the car seat at some point before bump arrives though! oh and I need to buy cheap shower curtain/ plastic mat for the floor - not rushing round for this as I have old sheets etc.. and we ahve Karndean on the floor, so not like a nice cream carpet?! Will maybe go out tom and see if I can get one.

Keep me posted... am starting on Rasberry Tea capsules... will let you know..

Well i started by eating a whole fresh pineapple last night the only thing it seemed to do was make me spend a while sat on the loo :o:rotfl::rotfl:
I read online you need to eat like 10 fresh pineapples for it to have an effect though

Was looking up diy sweeps and all sorts last night though :rotfl:

Interesting reading about what you can/cant claim for. Im technically umemployed but I look after my sisters kids but get paid cash in hand (well I say that but I dont get paid I just add it onto what she owes me) but I have them less and less now I usually have them 2 days a week after school.
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D

    Who isn't eligible?

If you work on average more than 16 hours a week, or have a partner or civil partner who works on average 24 hours a week or more you can't usually claim Income Support.

How many hours did you work, how many does OH work? Do you get SMP?

Rant alert - feel free to ignore!

 Been asking OH for weeks to sort out the pile of letters etc he's had building up on dining room table. He has a drawer where he should keep that kind of stuff so it's not difficult!

Finally managed to get him to actually do it this morning. The result? I now have TWO piles of his letters etc on the dining room table!!
I presume one is for me to shred & the other is stuff he wants to keep but not sure why it didn't manage to travel the 3-4 metres to the drawer where this stuff belongs!!

I know I am very organised & i have everything like that sorted where i can find it straight away, and I wouldn't expect him to go to that extreme, but at least put the stuff away!

Gym - just a quickie while Im home for lunch, Concord car seats are very good but you need to make sure they fit your car, some people find them a little tricky too, but have never had any issues with them. See if you can find a local store that has them in so you can try them and be sure it fits ok. If not check out Kiddivares return policy as they may make you pay postage for return which would be expensive on something like that as there not light. Mothercare used to do them but not sure anymore they may be still available on line and then you'd be able to go along to your local store for a hand fitting and return free of charge.

Right dog walked, lunch scoffed need to dash back to work now, hope the car screen doesnt need de icing again!

Thats what i found, but at the moment i work 30 hours a week, but dont cause im on mat leave. And OH does 40, when i go on mat leave he's going to do less then 24 hours part time.
But do i still count as working 30 hours, or will it be 0 hours?
    And yes to SMP.

Might have to go to CAB and ask them about it all. Its difficult as i'll be going to college after mat leave finishes, and i dont think students get it
