Grr PP how annoying, make sure you tell them about the bread too when they ring back, that's not on at all. They once sent me dilute juice that was 6 months out of date and didn't even apologise when I complained!!
Ok - decided to get a car seat that doesn't fit on the pushchair, as M&P are so expensive - anyone got any reccomendations? Som?eta: just seen this - looks good in theory as would last til 4 years old, anyone seen/got one?
eta: Thanks JHAI tried the pillow thing last night - usually sleep with one leg over a big pillow and the other behind me, but changed tactics and had all the pillows between my knees (poor OH got no pillows!!), and feel a bit more mobile today
I might even try the all fours trick later if I think I might be able to get back up again!!
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
He just rang back had to go through and read out every bloody product number to him
He then offered to get the store to come and collect it all, nothing about replacing it just collecting it all which i said no to! I mean its mainly damaged tins which can still be used so its not the end of the world, but at the same time if i had gone into the store i wouldnt have brought the damaged tins myself so therefore they shouldnt be delivering them in that state! anything else that was damaged i threw away because it was leaking i wasnt going to leave it leaking in my house was i???
He is going to calculate the refund amount and call me back in a few minutes apparently.
Though i am now being told that they wont refund the bank charges unless i send a copy of my statement to asda themselves so there is nothing i can do about it until i get my statement through, i argued that bit too though coz i was told something different first thing this morning. They are really going to regret messing this order up so bad:rotfl:

They have just rang back and they have issued another refund of £24.62 in addition to the £10.19.
I have got to email a screen shot of my bank statement to asda house for them to process the refund for the bank charges so i have got to wait for that to appear on my online statement.
Its still not the full amount but im fed up now and really cant be bothered to argue with them anymore over a couple of quid. Im not gonna let the bank charges go though!0 -
Yay for fighting it, PP!

Hello Everyone!! PrincessPlaty - sorry you are having Asda issues, I have Sainsbury's coming this afternoon - lets hope it is more straightforward. Don't they get the fact that home delivery is supposed to be straightforward and take the stress out of shopping  Plus you're due 2 days after me, don't want you queue jumping due to getting harrassed!!
Last day at work for me today :j:j
Have nearly done everything too... just one or 2 small jobs, which I will get on to now.
On a different note... do you ever wonder in other peoples logic... last week MW came round to go through HB process with me... was 36+3, just before she put my notes away she noticed I had had a colposcopy (sp?) and said this might cause issues with dilation due to scar tissue - had I seen a specialist? I said no, but 7 different MW and a DR had reviewed my notes in the last 31 weeks since I found out I was PG and no-one else had commented. Anyway - cut a long story short - ended up being booked in to antenatal clinic on Monday (37 weeks exactly - so full term) only to have to wait 1 and 3/4 hours as that is how far behind they were running...
then found out it was the prem prevention clinic they had booked me in to. Dr and nurse wereas to why I was there and said they wouldn't examine me as I was considered full term. Fact I had a procedure may have the smallest risk of slowing down dilation but they would never know as anyone can be slow with their first!!!
Do they not know that's 3 hours of my life I wasted (oh and it was the same time as my antenatal class which I had to miss!!)
Although you have to love my DH so much he went to AN on his own :T he said he got some funny looks but no-one asked him to leave(he had been with me before, so not like some random bloke just walked off street!!!)
Sorry for long post x

Morning!
OH called me this morning to say that he asked our manager about my mat leave, as i haven't heard anything from anyone about it. (On holiday leave up until 20/12/09) and all the manager said was "if she requested it she will get it"
No comformation if it has been processed or anything. The manager is rubbish, he never does anything for anyone. If you send in a change of address request he will put it in his folder and wont send it to HR.
I've changed my address twice since being there yet it still shows my mums address on my payslips...
So i've got to call in a few hours to see if he's sorted it out, which i doubt he has.
Also they haven't released the xmas rota yet for next week! So OH doesn't know what shifts he's doing over xmas. Which is ridiculous. What about people that have familys with children?!! They need to know. :mad:pleased to report fajitas went down a treat....
even got one donated to baby from DH, who if you knew him, you'd know thats a major breakthrough to have him share his food!!!
We had Fajitas last night, OH gave me his last one cause i need to eat more and he didn't feel like it. Which is NOT like him at all :rotfl:
Massive labour vibes always!!!!
Gym - this is a ventouse
It is essentially a suction cup lol.
PP - Glad you at least got a bit of a refund! Asda are idiots. Yet i still order with them lol
Som - Lovely Bump!!!0 -
