gymfiend - youve probably tried this already but lie on your left with two pillows under your head, you can move the top one and hug it if it helps and get as many pillows as is comfy between your knees and ankles (i am currently on four) but start with one - this stops the pelvis folding in iyswim - is it your right leg / hip? If you want the assistance of a doc (and pain relief like co-codamol) i would go and see them - at least you would know the position of baby then and how to change it HTH

You def know about getting belly to hang by doing all fours as i am always banging on about it:cool::rolleyes::rotfl:

OMG I've just googled ventouse after reading something on here earlier and being intrigued, please tell me they don't really look like this :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Nope, they are forceps, a vontuse looks more like a small plunger with a pipe that attaches to the suction valve :D

By that time though, you don't care :p

Just thought I'd drop in and spy on you all! :rotfl:

Aww bazza, hope he takes to it soon, how long will you give it before going on the formula?

Can you tell the midwives to pop round and give me a sweep while you're there, ta :D:rotfl:

Haha! I left at 9pm tonight, leave mum and baby to it....again!

Not sure really, he screamed the place down overnight and missus said she could hear his little tummy rumbling :o He's taking hand expressed colostorum fine which is keeping him going for now, but she may try breast pump at some point...before going down the formula route bless him.

Lol to BD at same time! I hav terrible sickness, been a little moody but otherwise quite happy, headaches, loss of appetite, cramps and tiredness. Never felt so tired in my life. I always stay up late and I keep finding I fall asleep on the sofa these days! lol. My boobs are the worst, incredibly sore!

Thanks for the Bump compliments ladies, hope I can stay stretch mark free!

Bazza - yeay for a name for lil man, hope he starts feeding soon so he can come home.

Just moaning to OH that I hate that my black mat jeans are always covered in hair/fluff. Doesnt matter how much I wash them either. Non of my other black clothes have this issue! even when they come out of the same wash, tres strange.

Got more xmas lights up indoors now, picked them up for half price at Tesco, got lil red santas going up our stairs and blue/white led lights around our window :D so cute.

Just reading up on hot baths to help bring on labour and getting conflicting opinions lol. Still gonna have one though to help me sleep.

I have some lavender oil which is said to help but i just found a post by an aromatherapist on another forum and she says it's bullocks lol. Might give that a miss then i don't fancy smelling of granny.
