Just telling Oh , about swallowing semen to help with labour, he has had a fab idea,,

No more being induced by the hospital , just go prepared with semen in a pot to drink , They will say ' Right mrs ? are you ready to be induced?'
You say ' yes , heres my pot , i will drink this and all will start '
    Hehehehehe

Or just have it on tap next to you by OH
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Nikkit - I've got my first appointment with my consultant the next week so if it's still causing issues I'm going to mention it then.

I feel silly for letting it get me down cos I'm sure plenty of people of had it much worse, it's just impacting on everything I do.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: nikkit that cracked me up!

Muso dont feel bad, I had really bad MS until about 14 weeks and honestly hated myself for feeling so down when I felt I should be elated for being pregnant. I told OH there was no way we were ever having another as I couldnt cope with feeling that rough again but by the 20 week scan when we found out we're having a girl I might have let slip that we could try for another in the future for the possibility that its a boy next time. (I may change my mind again once Ive been through labour :rotfl:)

Ive been lucky and had an easy pregnancy but there have been moments Ive been in tears with hip/pelvis pain, not sleeping, MS etc etc. As OH said the other day, its all relative. Yes, someone elses pregnancy may have been a lot tougher but if what your feeling at the time is enough to upset/hurt you then its bad enough. (He put it to me that yes, its the worst pain when you stub your toe but stub your toe when your arms hanging off and you wouldnt even notice ) And yay for scan on Thursday :j Everyone feels nervous beforehand, its all part of becoming a mum.

Elasti huge hugs, its horrible having days when everything triggers tears x x

Morning all, Hope everyone's doing well, and labour vibes to all those who need them.
I thought saomething might be happening last night as I felt very achey down below, and my hips and pelvis were sore, also got a couple of niggly pains. Every time I woke up last night I was wondering if something was happening, but nothing!!
DS is at the childminder's today, so I'm going to bounce on the ball lots and run up and down the stairs a few times if I can manage it :rotfl:

That sounds exactly like me. I had back ache and period type cramps in bed last night and just felt 'strange'. All gone this morning though, although I do feel pretty crappy and tearful.

Anyone else suffering with a really sore bump at the moment? I'm sure it's ligament pain, it's right underneath but it is so uncomfortable....

No Helen yet? Exciting stuff :D

Fingers crossed Karen now has her little one with her at the hospital!

Morning! Even though i woke up ages ago lol. I've been baking cakes, i couldn't be bothered to do it last night. The popcorn and Pepsi max i had was far more interesting :D

Waiting on my victoria sponge cake to cook so i can put the cupcakes it. Havng two timers would confuse me lol. Plus it works out handy for cooling and icing :D

Wish i had some food colouring, my icing is going to be white :(
Does the cream in the middle of the victoria sponge have to be double cream? Can it be buttercream icing? lol.

My dad came round last night and fixed our sink! The blockage wasn't our fault :D Whoever lived here before must of done hand washing in the sink, as the blockage was a perfect cylinder of washing powder! lol. Us using the sink all the time must of moved it and caused the blockage.

Going to my mums for a tea party for her and my brothers birthday today, her's was yesterday and my brothers is tomorrow, he will be 5 :( He's growing up to fast! He's my baby lol x

Are you constipated at all? I know a lot of ladies suffer from this early on and it can be pretty miserable. Plenty of water always helps me.

Christmas cake.....mmmm! I was going to make some little ones in bean tins and ice them for pressies. I haven't done it yet though! Maybe that would keep me occupied for a while as I am so bored :o. I don't have all the ingredients though and I'm not sure I feel up to a supermarket trip today.

EA- I would think buttercream would be fine- are you puttling jam with it as well? I personally just make mine with lots of apricot jam in the middle. Yum, yum....

GISI and Littlebit - I'm with you on being so fed up! Thought things were kicking off in the night as had contractions from 2.30 to 5am but feel asleep at 5am so must have eased off. I've had to pack DS off to my mums as I feel so rough so feel like a crap mum and have been really teary today.

TMI I know but I've been sick and had to go to the loo twice this morning, lost a massive part of my plug last night but that seems to have stopped now. Feel so fed up today - I just want my baby!!!
