Disappointingly I am still here with no baby. finally gave up and went to hospital about 4am they checked and said I was only 1cm dilated and sent us home i was so tired/in pain/gutted that as soon as we were out the del suite i started crying. If i am busy the contractions are "manageable" but when I am relaxed they are really painful. when we got home I just wanted to sleep. DH just cuddled me and I think we managed to get a bit of sleep inbetween the contractions.

They said to me to come in when the contractions are 4-5 mins apart lasting 1-1.5 mins and the pain is so much that you can't talk - joy. So not a happy bunny now :( just want to cry everytime I have one. Have had a 2 hour bath this morning and will prob have another one this afternoon. hopefully my prediction of a 4th nov baby will become true I don't think I can take much longer.

Sorry to be so down. Love to you all. xx

  • Oh Karen- I am gutted for you.

I so hope that your prediction for 4th is right. Sending you loads of vibes and hugs. Can you stomach a nice relaxing hot chocolate or something to cheer you up? Or some Ben and Jerry's or something yummy?

Have a dodgy hug Karen :grouphug:. Hope the bath helps - would a hot water bottle on your back make you feel better? Our antenatal class liked to scare everyone by saying that early labour can last up to like 3 days, so hopefully praying you can have yours much sooner than that! I guess just focus on meeting your baby...

Come on ladies, let's send mega labour vibes to Karen so she's not in pain anymore!!

  • Ok i am 11 wks tomorrow - i have felt some tiny little flicks from inside. Weirdly along my section scar area. Tiny little feelinings and i only get it 2 or 3 times a day for the last 3 days....is there any chance i could be feeling movement this early on? I thought it was too early when i felt it the first time so dismissed it but baring in mind i am mega slim (size 4/6) so there is very little padding between my skin and womb and it keeps coming back?

Very confused - i want it to be what i think but soooo sure it is too early! (then again i am adament i am further along by 7-10days as i know my ovulation dates and when we BD'd).......Argghhhhh!

  • mega labour vibes from me to Karen too!!!!!!

MGEB- I think it was Nicki who had her bubs back in Sept/ Aug who felt some movement really early on too. Consensus was that is you are teeny and it's not your first, then it is totally possible!

Aless - thanks for comment about hot water bottle, that didn't cross my mind. I'll go and get one and take it back to bed with me. I feel that I will be a lot better with a bit of sleep.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. I shall go get a hot chocolate and hot water bottle and relax in bed for a while hoping that I feel a bit less down and able to cope with the pain better.

plus I have my mW appointment this afternoon (which I was hoping not to make!). Not sure what will happen there ??
