Beenie, don't feel too bad - all my baby stuff is in carrier bags (or worse - big piles on the floor!!) too. Need to buy some cheap plastic drawers from Argos or similar to put the clothes in and waiting til we get a changing table to sort out everything else. Other than that, it feels very disorganised and I dread to think what on earth we would do if the baby was born tomorrow!

fatty - welcome to Toby and congrats to you and your husband!

boogelly - hopefully congrats in order for you now too!

gisi - ah the sneaky facebook checks look like congrats to you!

oh god, this means I am now 7th on the list, less if Charlie (any news?!) and afro have "graduated" too! my work colleague who was due on the 7th had her little boy yesterday - hope I don't go 11 days over!

am 38 weeks today and seeing the midwife later - hopefully she will tell me I am not imagining that the little man has dropped! - I will be asking about inductions and sweeps me thinks.

Was very bad yesterday and went to john lewis and demolished some hard earned cash on some toys - we hadn't bought anything like that yet although I am sure we'll get given loads but couldn't resist http://www.johnlewis.com/230130876/Product.aspx and http://www.johnlewis.com/230229477/Product.aspx to brighten up his white cot with white bedlinen!!!

Beenie - don't worry about feeling disorganised, you've got a week on me and I've not even assembled the cot or washed the bedlinen and am still painting the chest of drawers he's going to have nor have we even got any of this in right room and all his clothes are still in the boxes I moved them in. Must wash the nappies too. Better get off here and start doing stuff!!!

good news - turns out the solicitors ccked up on the completion monies for the new place and we got a cheque for nearly £4k back. We're not going to spend it until we get confirmation from the mortgage company but will be fantastic if it's all ours!

assuming that you have somewhere else for baby to sleep, I wouldn't have thought so. We've not got a moses basket (despite my MIL asking everytime we go round if we've got one yet and them offering to buy one, I just don't like them!) hence me flapping about the cot being not ready yet.

Always - good luck at the MW later, you planning on going to aqua tonight? Oh and the toys are real cute :D

Aless - plenty of people buy cots after bubs has arrived, am assuming you have a crib or moses basket tho.

PP - stupid sonographer, she must have gotten out of bet the wrong side. Good that bubs had gotten more active, fingers crossed that everything goes smoother from here on.

25 weeks today and have doc tomorrow (in lieu of MW) trying to think of q's for her as I always remember them after my visit! EA you said you had an A4 page, what type of Q's will you be asking. I suppose its only 3 weeks to my next MW appt tho so not such a long wait if I miss something, Anti D at 28 weeks!!

Oh i don't have a cot or a pushchair yet lol. I do have a crib and a moses basket though so the travel system is most important cos if she comes early we will be housebound for a while and need to get DS to school!
