Just took a look at the offers Sainsburys are doing on their baby toiletries, there are some fab lil bits on there. Tempted to get a few bits as there cheaper than I could pick up at work with discount, especially the lansinoh cream at £4.86. Will be going there for def tomorrow :D

Fishcake: I think you need to contact your community midwife to clarify appointments. It sounds like you are not seeing consultant again til 34wks. You need to still be seeing CMW for wee/BP checks. You also need to get HIPG form and MATB1 at around 25wks.

Freebirthing- If your partner assists the birth in any way he will be breaking the law and liable for prosecution if anything were to happen to you or the baby. I would seriously not recommend this. Ask your MW about home births x
  • Oooooohhhh how exciting boo. Fingers crossed everything goes well for you, sending you positive thoughts.x x x

JHA- your quite welcome. Thats one of the best things on this board, the way we can all learn new things and ideas. I`m really interested in RLT, which is something I'd never heard off before comming on here.

    Hello ladies,

I havent had chance to catch up yet as its been a long day. Has there been any news on Gisi or Charliedavis yet?

Ive spent today being checked over at the day asesssment unit, everythings ok now and Ive been given a sweep which seems to have kicked things off. I was already measuring 3cm's which I was surprised about and the trace machine picked up tightenings which I hadnt been feeling. Seems to have picked up a bit now and are definately getting more painful and frequent.

The sweep was no more painful than a smear, just a slightly uncomfortable feeling. Ive bled on and off since but my waters still havent gone but hopefully we're moving in the right direction.

Hugs and vibes to all in need x x

Oooo exciting! I went from 3cms to 7cm in 3.5 hrs then from 7cm to baby out in 55mins so maybe not long now!

Hi everyone :) Firstly, yay Boogelly sounds like you are well on your way. thats excellent, good luck!!

Well thank you all for your lovely messages following DH post, I was well impressed that he updated you all. Ive just read back your messages and it bought a tear to my eye, funny how we all get so close yet we have never met!!

Well our little boy is gorgeous and I cannot believe how undescribable it is to be a mum and love him so much!! We have called him Toby William and he weighed 6 lb 15 oz. We got home this afternoon. Feels nice to be home :)

I will do my birth story asap, it was quick but it seems I spent the most of the contractions at home doubting that they were the real thing, so by the time we got into hospital, after the 35/40 min journey, I was soon 9cm dilated!! Due to this I only had 2 paracetamol and gas and air for the last hour or so  Mind you, it was lovely to hear her say that I was 9cm as I thought I still had hours and hours to go!!

I will upload some photos very soon but just off now to get in a little sleep before tonight as I was up with Toby all last night and feeling super tired, hehe!!

Thanks again for all your lovely messages and support, cant wait to hear from GISI, Boogelly and Charliedavis.

    xx
