gym - I'm just dashing off home, but trying looking up photos of the Mei Tai slnig and Moby wrap. They're very popular, similar to the Joey sling Glam has but slight variations...HTH

Thanks Aless, will go have a nosy now. Just realised I totally made up that about Glam having the kari-me, it was OH's aunt who was telling me about them, somehow got confused, duh! Really love the look of the Joey :D

    No babies yet then;)

My clothes have become decidedly tight today...all day I have been unbuttoning my jeans while sitting down, and trying to discreetly button them up again before standing up! Last year I went with leggings and Ugg style boots with long tops/dresses over them. I think I might do the same again this time round as I still have my leggings. I went to primark and bought some loose style tops/dresses so If I buy a few wintery warm ones and some warm fluffy boots, then in April/May I can just wear some lighter ones with some little flat slip on shoes:)

I will have a little nosey on Ebay too as I would like a few nice bits too because last itme I barely went anywhere, only the school run and work (had a uniform for work) but I don't want to go to Uni looking like a hobo!!!!

Gym if you have a look on here http://www.slingmeet.co.uk/ they list meetings close to you where you can go along and try out different slings and most have a library service where you can borrow a sling to try it out for a while before buying one. Im hoping to go to my local one on 2/12 if baby ever decides to arrive! Ive bought a ring sling already (partly because its one of the types I was interested in and partly because it says 'Baby K' and has silver wings on and babies surname will begin with a K!) and made a wrap sling but want advice on wearing them and to see if there's any others I prefer.

    Hiya all,
Oooh I hope gisi is having cuddles with her baby!!

    Bit of a rant alert
Remember me saying my mw wrote the wrong date on my matb1?
Well it's been at my docs for over a week to change the date to the right one.
Called today and they said I NEED to go there as they can't discuss it with me on the phone. So I get there and the doc is refusing to change it as it doesn't matter cause it's the same month!!!
And I need to ask the mw to do it. Why couldn't they tell me this last week???

But guess what? I can't get hold of my mw, I found out today she only works Tuesdays & Fridays, and it needs to be in for work by Friday!

I left her a message on her phone saying to call me asap about it, but I doubt she will call me as she always Denys that I leave her messages, making me out to seem like a liar!
Arrrrgh, it's just so ridiculous! All it is is one tiny number that has to be changed! I should of done it myself !!!!!!.

Sorry, I'm just so stressed about it all

Also if some words don't make sense it's cause I'm on my iPod and it always changes words lol x

Right home from work early as I'm feeling really drained and think I have a headache on the way, off to bed in a mo, but OH is changing bed clothes (he is so well trained hehe). Hope I'm not coming down with anything!

jha - thanks for the advice, I already sleep with the pillow between my knees and agree it helps alot.

SJ - yeah dont like pelvic excercises either, and keep forgetting them! I order those vests too and when I went to asda to pick them up they said they were still waiting for them although the other part of my order was there. Hope they turn up, was going to give them till thursday and check again.

Always - might give the e45 ago, its the top of my inner thigh so will be ok. Yay for lil man being a good weight, boo for the uti and pills tho :(

Gym - Glam has the Joey sling which you can pick up direct here, there are some on sale atm too. Also if you want a wrap style but without the fiddling the Closer sling is available from Mothercare and is really popular ( it has £10 off till the end of toady too.) I have a Calin Blue Wrap that I picked up via UKbabywearingSwap, its ex display and was reduced by £15 but is immaculate, there are lots of other great buys to be had on there too.

On the vit chat am taking Pregnacare plus still at 24 weeks, dont have a bad diet but it isn't perfect so thought it'd be for the best. Like the others have so far managed to avoid all the bugs going about work, so far! (hope this is one on its way.) Just havin some OJ and lemonade for a vit boost, and MIL gave me some prunes last night to help with constipation lol, wasn't sure about them but they dont taste so bad. Right nap time, might stick the lappy on in bed later and catch up.

Oh before I go LABOUR VIBES to all in need xxx

I used a wrap sling with DD and it was great as it was really versatile and so supportive, but I just bought a long piece of fabric, it wasn't an actual sling iyswim. This time round I have been given a ring sling and it looks really simple, but I obviously haven't used it yet so not sure. If you want to see them in real life you can arrange to go to a sling meet to have a look what people are using, and how they work etc. TBH I think whichever one you get will be useful, as long as you learn how to use your one that is all that matters IMO. Good luck choosing, there is such a wide choice!
