Morning (just!)
I know Ive probably missed both of you but speedy painless labour vibes to Gisi and FattyboobooReally hope your both enjoying mummy cuddles as I type though (even if I am a little jealous
)
Im still here, havent even had any random tightenings to indicate a trial run may be on the way so I think Im here for the long haul :rolleyes: I had a little cry at OH again last night, I fully expected to go overdue but even just 2 days has got me climbing the walls! Ive got my friend coming around later as its her 30th today, I should really go and buy a gift bag for her pressies but I havent got the energy it requires to get to the shop :rotfl:
Charliedavis huge vibes your way, are you due to see the midwife soon re sweeps or induction?
Beenie - You've got my sympathies with the heartburn, its awful. Im the same where everything triggers it off now so its either dont eat and starve or eat and suffer :mad:
Elasti I really think men havent got a clue at times, their definately from another planet!
Ive forgotten everything else I caught up on, sorryPregnancy brains really got the better of me today.
Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Boogellyboo have some more labour vibes and ((((hugs)))) too. I feel the same in that I fully expect to go overdue, but I have a feeling I won't cope too well with it if I do!!0

I hate getting conflicting advice from people who should know what theyre talking about.....when I saw a GP after I found out I was pregnant he said I could take ibuprofen upto 24wks and said my asthma would get better throughout pregnancy - however my MW said asthma more often than not gets worse and that I shouldnt take ibuprofen - so who do we believeI just puked illuminous yellow paint stripper style acidLovely. In the kitchen sink too :rotfl:
Totally sympathising with those who have MS right now.
Pukey group hugs :grouphug:_pale__pale__pale_
Thats my 'evidence' when Im sick first thing in the morning it sometimes burns but am always glad to have gone through it as Im 99% ok afterwards
Got my dating scan in the morning at 10.30!!!!Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -
Good Luck gals who need those labour vibes! :T
Here's a question for you all. Do I need to be taking a pregnancy vitamin? I have been taking folic acid for the last couple of months and know I need to continue taking it but should I be taking anything else now?0 -
yorky - everything I've read both NHS leaflets & online says paracetamol ONLY and deffo not ibruprofen.
ymake - it's not strictly necessary, but you may want to consider a multivitamin for general good health or at least iron as a lot of pregnant women have low iron. It's up to you, really.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

You don't really need to be taking anything else except folic acid for the first three months and a healthy diet beyond that. That said, I'm taking vitamins plus omega 3, but that's because I don't trust myself to actually eat properly/get all my nice vitamins in through food alone! I guess if you've got a healthy, varied enough diet, you don't really need to be taking anything extra. If you do decide to take vitamins, make sure they are pregnancy specific ones as other multi-vits contain vitamin A which can be harmful.0
