  • Yeah £10 off the £30 order is pretty good, so long as I actually get the stuff in the end!! I just begrudge having it delivered to home at such a high cost just to be sure I get it when I can actually see the store from the baby's room window!

hope everything is going well for gisi & fatty!

sorry to hear so many of you feeling sicky today.

som for the chaffing have you tried e45 - I've used this before with chaffing and rubbing but only on skin if you know what I mean (not sure where your prob is!)

just got back in from growth scan - little man growing normally now after his little blip a few weeks back and we don't need to see the (absolutely brilliant) consultant again:j:j:j he's 2.5kg (5.5lbs) - am 37+5 now so he's got another couple of weeks growing to do.

Brilliant midwife linked to the consultant also listened to my grumpy moan about bladder pain and tested my pee - turns out have uti and it's not just little man head butting my bladder so now have big fat pills to take. Probably explains why I felt so tired yesterday but now feel justified in sitting in front of telly again all afternoon rather than finishing making the spare room curtains for mum coming over. Bad always :rotfl:

SJ do you live next to me, I can see asda from my nursery window too :D

Charliedavis hope the tightenings have progressed to something more for you. My mum went 3 weeks over with my sister (19 years ago now) Id forgotten you had the independent midwife.

My friends just left, she loved her pressies too which was good. Thank heavens for Boots glitches and full present stashes :D

Ive taken a pregnancy vitamin the whole way through, although I eat quite healthily anyway I figured it'd be a back up if I was missing anything. Normally Im quite a sicky person and pick up every bug going but Ive been healthier than ever whilst pregnant so it must have done some good. And with my extra calcium, EPO, vit C, omega 3, arnica and RLT Im taking now OH says I can open my own holland & barrett store soon :o

Make the most of sitting in front of the tv
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j
  • Always that's really great news! :T Bet that's a big weight off your mind. Glad they've spotted the uti too so you can get that cleared up.

Boogelly that would be funny! Pretty sure you're not in Leeds though!

I was going to say earlier, I have been taking pregnacare and calcium. If you take a regular multivitiamin make sure you don;t have too much Vitamin A as this is harmful to baby as they can't process it so it builds up in their little bodies and becomes toxic (also why you are not allowed to eat liver, too high in vit A)

Great news Always, well done baby Always :T:T

Just had a quick scan through and can't find a post from GISI today? Hope that means she's well on the way to mummy cuddles :D

Beenie sorry you've got such horrid heartburn :( Have you tried milk? The only thing I've found that helps is milk or horlicks

PP hope hospital goes well this afternoon & baby has started wriggling to reassure you :) Boo to the thrush too, it's horrible isn't it. If canesten doesn't work, and you don't mind trying homeopathic remedies, I found sepia really helped whenever I had it.

Lots of labour vibes for you Boo :) Hope things get started soon, xx

SJ how annoying - I think Asda are pants, I ordered from them a few weeks ago and they called me a week later to tell me the things I wanted were out of stock after taking payment

Yorky I've not taken any vitamins since stopping pregnacare after 12 weeks, I asked the midwife and she said there's no need provided you eat a varied diet, so guess it depends whether you do or not :)

Ok think that's me all caught up! Had an uncomfortable day today, pelvis feels all bruised and hideous, hoping it'll pass. Baby has been mega active which is always lovely, he definitely likes Shakira, we've been playing it to him and watching him wriggle :rotfl: We've been trying to train him to wriggle to Kings of Leon but it doesn't work, only Shakira will do  Ooh & Dad picked me up a cat net for the cot today too, so ugly but I guess practical as my cats can open doors so however hard I try I can't really keep them out of anywhere! Wouldn't have ever occured to me to buy one so v grateful to him :)

Anyone got any advice on slings? After seeing Glam's Jack in the 'kari me' (I think??) I've come to really like that, but not really sure? In all the usual shops all I can see is standard baby carrier type things, which I don't want, so not sure where to look to see one in real life?
