Just been on a good eBay & Nappy Lady spree buying baby bits! Hehe...well, is boring stuff most to do with reusable nappies. Som, you are evilllll for linking that Yahoo Group - just found a FABULOUSLY-priced Moby D wrap which I've emailed the seller about!!

I've been itching to get this money as have held off buying most crucial bits like blankets & nappy stuff until it came through :D.

Silly question time - how many sets of Moses basket sheets is everyone getting? I've gotten 2, thinking wash one use one but am wondering if I need more? Can always use pillowcase like others have suggested in a pinch. Also, how many blankets? I've been given a couple 'special' ones by people but wondering how many everyday use ones I need, since every photo of a baby on here is wrapped in a cosy blanket :D.

  • Well i have just got back from the hospital, they were going to keep me in but didnt have any available beds  at least it means i get to sleep in my own bed tonight though! Got to be back there again for 8 tomorrow morning for another ctg and an emergency scan.

They did a trace of the heartbeat and although it was there it wasnt as strong as they would like it to be and bump still hasnt been moving all day :( so they want to know why.
Also lost a bit of blood whilst i was there only a very small amount though so they did an internal and everything seems to be fine  has made me panic a bit though as i never lost any blood with the other two :o

So just keeping everything crossed for tomorrow now :(
  • Hi PP, sorry you're having a rough time. Wishing you luck for tomorrow.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

PP loads of luck for tomorrow, hope everything is ok for you.

I'm at midwife tomorrow afternoon (get out of work early yay) and having 4 point test, which I;m a bit nervous about. Really hope I get to hear babys heartbeat as well.

  • PP hope things get easier for you soon. Good luck tomorrow.

I've been decorating cakes and now I'm making chicken pie for tomorrow night. Got mum, dad, sister, BIL, aunt and uncle coming for tea tomorrow! Didn't want to have to start making dinner for 8 people after work tomorrow so decided to do it now instead.

Looking forward to finishing it though as I really want a bath as my back is aching again today.

Hope everyone else is ok tonight. going to read back from this afternoon now x

Last year I went with leggings and Ugg style boots with long tops/dresses over them. I think I might do the same again this time round as I still have my leggings.

I am absolutely loving my leggings, uggs, long tops and cardigans at the moment, it's just so comfy compared to everything else! And I'm sur eyou don't look like a hobo!! :p

Not silly at all! But I have no idea I'm afraid. I've been wondering the same myself. I have no idea how many blankets / sheets etc I need. I'm also not even sure how much clothes etc I'll need. I have plenty of nappies and wipes, and have quite a few clothes now, but everything else I'm just a bit confused by!
  • Hugs PP, hope baby gets a serious wriggle on for you tonight.

Im at the midwife in the morning unless things kick off tonight. Ive been bouncing on my ball and going to have a soak in the bath now I think.

Charliedavis hasnt been back on has she so hopefully the tightenings this afternoon were the start of things for her?

Hugs and appropriate vibes to all in need x
