Afternoon all! GISI, sorry to hear about the mixed results from your sweep - you never know, you may still start before Tuesday after all! (loved the gratuitous wedding photo BTW, pretty dress!).

Doesn't surprise me that EA is the highest poster on here :D

Feeling a bit sleepy, as after DH came home after the cinema with some mates, took me absolutely bloody ages to get comfortable and fall asleep again. Felt like no matter what position I got into, it was extremely uncomfortable and I had to move again in 10 min. Hope this isn't sign of things to come :(.

Managed to rope DH into going to Sbury's for us, b/c he wanted to check out the video game exchange store, so this is his trade-off, LOL.

it's everything after the baby comes. all the responsibility, the lack of freedom, i don't even want to live in this country! (i'm originally from aust, my bf is british) we have a lot to sort out and i'd rather just not go through with it, as selfish as that sounds.

Just wanted to send you a hug sidekick. For most parents to be the responsibility of a baby is huge and there is so much to worry about and feelings of worry that you wont cope / your freedom will go are common even for those like me who were trying for a while.

I think the these feelings of worry and not beinig ready become more strong as you approach appointments like scans because you know it will become "real" when you see the little baby in there. They have certianally become more real for me during the last few weeks as i approach the birth. OH and i often have concerns from time to time about aspects of being parents. I think everyone does.

Take some time to yourself and have a good think about what the probs are: is it the relationship? do you want to go home? are you worrying about money? etc - you might find they are not all related to the pregnancy and can be sorted iyswim.

Take nikkit's advice please and make that call. Were here for you :grouphug:

  • Gisi - hope the sweep kickstarts something for you Fingers crossed for a natural start for you. Get plenty of rest because when contractions start that's it for sleep ;)

I am starting to get well grumpy through lack of sleep. Unfortunately my daughter likes to sleep during the day and stay awake at night lol so am seriously lacking in sleep now. I never seem to be able to sleep very well during the day when they say you should tho. obviously I love Tegan so am managing but would appreciate a couple of hours a night :D

Hope everyone else is ok but not managed to catch up to see.
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

Argghh i can't sleep cos i'm so thirsty, but drinking so much water is making me bloated and feels even worse than being dehydrated!! Serves me right for having a salt addiction and having a greasy tea :(

Bit late now, but for the future, I suck ice cubes when I feel like this, which is most of the time. When I was PG with DD and this time I have a constant dry mouth, that no matter how much I drink doesn't go. Last time I was so worried I had diabetes lol! Got tested and no I was fine, just can be a symptom apparently!
    HTH.
