Talking of naps, I really need to start taking them I think as O'm getting tired easliy but cant sleep at night for long periods without my back getting sore. Thing is I'm rubbish at sleeping through the day, anyone any tips or chilling out?
Why not try listening to a hypnotherapy CD, that's what I do and it works a treat, plus for getting to sleep at night (pop onto an Ipod) - you could try natal hypnotherapy to practice birth breathing as well?
Congrats Faye!0 -
Wowzers its quiet in here tonight, u must all be watching I'm A Celeb, hehe!! Well I bounced on my ball during x factor so unless something happens in the night looks like I will be going for the scan tomorrow morning so I'll let you know how I get on once I get home. Gonna take my bags in just to be on the super safe side. Labour vibes to GISI, charliedavis & boogelly, surely one of us will have some news soon, not long either way for you now GISI, yay!! xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0

aless - I used to get really the same uncomfy ache after my car accident 6 years ago and had to have painkillers that were much stronger and longer lasting, its the same kinda thing now. So am guessing its a throw back to that and not being used to sleeping on my side. Atm I sleep with a memory foam pillow and a bolster pillow between my knees and under bump for support. Think maybe a pillow behind me might help but the bed isnt big enough.
Charlie - the hypnotherapy cd might work, I just found one with some nice classsical music on so might give that a go.
Well just watched Top Gear and had a good laugh and now am ready for bed xBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Jenny - nice of you to pop by, how are you and Erin getting on?
Hi Som, Me and Erin are fine, she had a bit of a stuffy nose which was really worrying at first and resulted in a sleepless night but we are coping now. I'm missing swimming with you and Always but hoping to go to a mum and baby group tomorrow so will hopefully meet some new people. That's if I can get myself and Erin up and out the door by 10am which will not be easy!Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Hello ladies, just logging on to tell you that i had my little boy, Seth Edward on 7th November, 3 weeks and 2 days early. He weighed 6lb 2 and a half oz.
I had planned to post more regularly once i was on my maternity leave, but little Seth had other ideas and i only got a week off!! He is truly a joy and i don't know how i ever lived without him. Can somebody update the birth list for me?
I will get to a birth story if i can ever put him down!!
Congrats Faye - I really hope you get on better with the BF than I did! :T
My Jack was 3 weeks early and a very similar weight!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

With regards to the jab i think i will ask the midwife about it tomorrow at my appointment, a sore arm is nothing compared to all the bruises im covered in from blood tests, i still have a bruise from a blood test that i had done 2 weeks ago  I seem to wake up everyday with a dead arm not sure if its connected to the amount of blood tests etc i have had in it though
I used to wake up with a dead left arm and although the MW didn't think it was connected I thought it was connected to me sleeping on my back as I would wake up on my back with a dead arm but maybe it just got trapped when I was sleeping on my left side then I rolled onto my back and woke upMum to DD born Oct 2009

Just got back from Mum and Dad's and they said that as they didn't buy us a wedding present (didn't expect one as they paid 1/3 of the wedding costs!!) they want to buy either pram or cot for the baby
I'll obviously still look for the most cost effective one but can get a dearer one now as we can put a bit towards it ourselves if it ends up too expensive, although they have said it doesn't matter how much it is.
Mum still has my first shawl/cot blanket which her friend knitted and has asked if we want that too! She showed it to me tonight and it's lovely.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Went to raid DS's toys after X Factor and put some VTech stuff on eBay
While i was listing he woke up and puked everywhere so i went to sort that out and bath him, so some of my listings won't end til about 11:30pm i hope the Xmas shoppers are still eBaying that late next Sunday!
He won't even notice they're gone lol. I searched completed listings to get an idea of how much they go for and there's always a few listings that go for silly high prices, hope mine go for silly prices :rotfl:0
