Thansk GISI, have tried eBay and managed to buy 3 tops that are all too short already  Thinking I'll try Asda as then I can at least try things on, but if that fails I'll be back on eBay again!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

"unbelieveably, I am still waiting to hear from mw for a scan... grr.
I have pcos and last blood tests said I wasn't even ovulating, so you'd think maybe they'd want to keep an eye on me? er, no. lovely. Am sooooo depressed over this!"

Lauz - sorry i missed your post earlier - when should you have had a scan lovely? Have you been booked in? I dont know much about pcos and pregnancy but have hug and hopefully someone will be along shortly with some info.

Happy 24 weeks kindof and gymfiend:D

"Apparently I got a parcel of something from Emma Jane to test, so hopefully is something useful unlike last time's pack of hideous granny panties! :p"

Aless :rotfl:- hope you get something more useful this time:D

Thanks for the compliment on the nusery gisi (and everyone else) it is a bit unusual because its mostly all stuff sourced second hand so theres differnt peter rabbit themes and designes in it from the ranging from stuff made in the 70's (yes my baby stuff:o) up to today. We spent £800 in total on everything (inc nappies, clothes etc) :money:but alot of stuff has been gifts. :D

yay on the new car lou66

    lovely outfit and crossstitch kindof:D

Off to watch dr who - the waters of mars on the iplayer because i missed it last night and i love dr who. Have a nice day everyone

  • Hello Everyone!
Thought I would finally join in as I've been following this thread for sometime and have found out I am now expecting! Though it is very early days and I'm treading very gently for the moment...
I have just rang my doctors who have booked me in for my 'booking appointment' with a doctor rather than a midwife for when I turn 6 weeks. I was told it was just a 10 minute appointment to fill out the forms which would then be passed to midwife and she would book me in for my scan. I was rather surprised by this as I thought the midwife did the booking appointment and this was usually at least 30 minutes or so long. Has anyone else had similar events? I'm in Grimsby if anyone else has the misfortune to live here too :rotfl:
