  • Hey guys,
I`m sooooo sleepy today, after a fantastic nights sleep as well. How odd. I`m almost 21 weeks so I guess I`m due to end my feeling good stage???
I've been knitting like mad the last 2 days as I found an old stash of wool I'd forgotten about and am trying to knit a cuddly blanket for either baby or me or both lol
Hope we are all well and GISI is okay

    Morning ladies,

JHA - your nursery looks fab :j Half pint is very lucky.

Boo - I know you'll already have been but hope all's well with the scan today.

Gisi - still sending vibes your way to get baby moving before tomorrows induction but either way not long to go now for you until mummy cuddles! (And I love the idea of an Ant & Dec nursery :rotfl:)

Kindof - that outfits lovely, we've got a few bits from pumpkin patch and their really cute.

Aless - I worked until 38 weeks and by the end couldnt fit under my desk. Belly monkey used to push back if I leaned too close! I had an L shape desk so tried moving everything to the corner so I had a bit more space but it didnt help much (and I felt cut off from the rest of my office!)

Well OH didnt get his wish and manage to not go to work today, poor mans probably shattered too as I was tossing and turning all night. I just couldnt get comfy for more than 5 mins and when I did nod off kept having nightmares and waking up whimpering :o Ive spent over an hour in the bath this morning trying to get rid of aches and pains but still feel decidedly meh.

Hugs and vibes to all in need and welcome to the newbies x
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
  • Congrats Jessi, I am a fellow newbie on this thread too ;)

My morning was going okay until about half an hour ago the crown on my front tooth came loose and is now hanging on by a thread. I swear I've had nightmares about this happening and I can't get into the dentist until the morning grrrrrr.

Oh I forgot to say my EDD is July 25th.

He, he, he.....we are nice on here! :D

Sorry to hear about the morning sickness. I know several on here have been suffering recently. Sea sickness bands seem to work well for some, and eating little and often can help stave it off.
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p

    welcome :)

I'm still in the MS phase too, though at 10 weeks it's really calming down a lot. I found keeping my blood sugar up, even though the last thing you feel like is eating, seems to do wonders. I 've been lucky in that I've only really suffered nausea with a little bit of sickness but sometimes even a glass of milk will stop the nausea/heartburny feeling that leads to my MS being worse. Sometimes fizzy drinks work too (not healthy but I figure it's better than feeling horrid!)

as for your EDD, try this calculator for a rough idea.

as for me, I'm jealous of all you lot down south - I'm still waiting for an appointment for booking, let alone having had one. I think I like the idea of being seen nearer to 8 weeks rather than the 12-14 that they leave you to up here! If it wasn't for not feeling particularly human at times, I'd have convinced myself that I made the whole thing up! :p

I am finishing at 36 weeks but thats near enough for me, yes finding it hard to wash up as well and also we have our dinner on trays and the tray seem to be getting further and further away. Also just bending at the moment is also proving to be a bit of a nightmare. Also the same with my desk at work.
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j
