Hiya everyone,
I'm pleased your bub is doing well GISI, lets hope something starts soon.
EA, why not save up for a bit then go to Fawcett Road in Southsea. It's full of second hand shops that sell EVERTHING!
We got this http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/442542/HOTPOINT-WMF740G
for £140 delivered with a years warrenty and it was only 3 months old :money: That might be better than getting one on credit.Cross Stitch Cafe member 710 -

EA - point out to your Dad how you need a new washing machine so that his future grandaughter will have clean, fresh clothes, and I'm sure he'll see the logic lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Well i emailed him asking if he would install it for me as he is a plumber, i used the "Its for your grandaughter and i wont have time to be trying to fix this old washing machine. She will love you for it as i will"
Hopefully he'll offer to buy it hhe

i have my first scan on thursday. i don't think i can go through with this. how do you all cope? i don't think i'm ready0
-
Sidekick - please try not to worry. What is it you don't think you can cope with? The scan itself or actually having a baby? I presume it wasn't planned from some of your other messages?
Mine was planned, but happened a bit quicker than expected. I still struggle to picture myself and DH with a baby. I've spoken to friends who have said exactly the same thing, but the minute that baby is put into your arms you're a mum and ready for it. I'm sure this will happen to you.
I think you'll find you feel very differently after your first scan as well. Big hugs and please talk to us about anything you feel you can't in the real world. Can often really help to get it off your chest.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
it's everything after the baby comes. all the responsibility, the lack of freedom, i don't even want to live in this country! (i'm originally from aust, my bf is british) we have a lot to sort out and i'd rather just not go through with it, as selfish as that sounds.0

Only you can make that decision sidekick, but please think long and hard before you do as you don't want to do something that you will regret for the rest of your life.
Would you be able to move back to Australia before the baby is born and have it there? If you have a good support network then the lack of freedom doesn't need to be as drastic. Please remember that you have a lot of hormones flying all over the place at the moment so all of your problems will feel magnified and much harder to cope with than usual.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
