Just nipping on to say good luck gisi effective sweep vibes to you!
Hope everyone is ok, still haven't managed to catch up yet (or update my sig aless lol!)
Dylan's tongue tie op went ok but he's now feeding constantly so don't get chance to do anything at the mo. He had lost a little over 10% of his birth weight (this is the max they allow before they start to worry) he's put a few ozs on but I' hoping that when the health visitor weighs him on tues he will show a much better gain.
Ooh by the way, for all of you worried about clothes not fitting bubs at the birth. Dylan was 8lb 10oz and the newborn stuff I had (up to 9lb)seem to be quite big on him.
I read someone has pgp (sorry can't scroll up to check who) sorry to hear that hope you don't end up as helpless as I did. I'm at just over two weeks after the birth and things seem to be getting a bit better now. It wasn't instant after the birth but it's getting there. Hope that helps x0 -
Good luck today GISI!!! Will be thinking of you and hope it is effective xx
Nikki if it doesnt get any better then ring NHS direct, i did when my throat first started being really bad, they reffered me to an out of hours doctor who called me and told me to go to a&e  theres me sat there thinking a&e for a sore throat !!!!!!?? :rotfl: and i ended up having a nice stay courtesy of maternity assessment  certainly didnt think at the time it would effect baby in anyway but clearly it did  Better to be safe than sorry xx
re the swine flu jab i havent been offered itdo you think maybe its because i have had swine flu that i dont need it
And to all those that are saying you dont think you need it coz you dont travel on public transport or go out to crowded places etc, nor do i and i still got it and it was awfulI wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy, doesnt necessarily mean that i would have the jab
but i definatley wouldnt rule it out based on those reasons xx
Fidget so glad Dylans op went well you must be so relieved now its over xx
gymfiend do it if thats what you want!! Your wedding day should be special for you and your OH and if thats what makes you happy then go for it sod everyone else xx
Woke up this morning with awful heartburn and feeling sickSeems to have eased off a bit now though thank god, wish the braxton hicks would !!!!!! off n all though! :rotfl:
Got my new bedroom furniture coming this afternoon :j Courtesy of freecycle :j I cant wait to finally unpack all the clothes and put them away :j

Good luck GISI, hope we don't see you back here til you have your lovely baby in your arms
Fidget glad all went well with Dylan's op, hope all the feeding's not too tiring for you
Thanks for all the wedding supportI'm actually dead excited now that we might really do it, it's been a bit of a 'one day darling' thing with OH up til now! We started looking at the different venues & costs last night & think it's good that it's pretty cheap too (you can 'buy' witnesses for £30! OH suggested this was a bit like we're loners buying friends!!), as we can then splurge on a fancy holiday afterwards, which is so much more us than a big wedding
Eek, how exciting!
Som it looks fairly cheap to do if you fancied itGood to hear the ILs fussed over you and bought bubs something lovely
FBB OH & I were saying we quite liked Jedward last night toohaha we must have no musical taste!
Right I'm getting up & out, we're off shopping for paint and to get some christmas presentsHave a lovely day all, xx
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Morning all,
Just wanted to pop in and wish GISI some extra lucky luck. Hope its your day honey.
I`m about to run off to asda for some decent bras, I have a whole £20 to spend and I need about 3 so wish me luck! I'll try to avoid spending it on baby clothes instead because my boobs are so painfull. I may just cut them off lol.
Does anyone have any links for men or/and birth partners about what to expect during birth. My OH is starting to worry if he has got the stuff to be there with me propally and now my mum is having the wobbles to. lol

Morning ladies well had a resonable nights sleep so thats good, altho had to wake up and drink some water several times so am guessing thats the chinease! Yoga today was cancelled for today, don't know why but hope its not going to be a regular occurance. Hoping to get a text from asda today to ssay we can collect the bedding and vest tops I ordered Wednesday, otherwise its going to be thursday before we can get over there.
Nikkit - hope you get that shoulder pain sorted, but good its not to do with pg.
PP - yeay for arrival of furniture
Fidget - pleased to hear Dylans op went well, even if he wont give you a break now hehe.
Gisi - fingers crossed your sweep does the trick xx
IHF - hopefully your spd will be helped by the support, I have one of the belts for mine and I find it does help, even if it looks daft! Take paracetamol if you need it tho.
Right need to eat and get a turkey stew in the slow cooker, then hopefully OH will arise from his pit and we can do something!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Little late but good luck GISI, hope you are getting on ok
Gymfiend - have a lovely day shopping
Fidget - Glad Dylan is feeding much better since his op, that must be a relief
PP - How exciting about ur furniture coming today, that would be the highlight of my day too!! My current highlight is the thought of the roast im gonna cook later, and Ive only got belly pork to have with it, lol!!
Well I woke up this morning having just had a dream that I had gone into the hospital to have our baby but wasnt sure why as not having contractions or anything. Anyhoo, 4 of my old colleagues were by my hospital bed waiting for me with my mum and dad to wish me luck, lol, can you imagine!! Thats the first birth like dream Ive had in ages so clearly this waiting around is starting to get to me!!
I am downstairs now in me dressing gown watching Something for the Weekend (love this!!) as DH is still in bed following his late nite boxing watching. Feel a bit carp today below my bbs again, kinda a bit breathless and lil bit sicky. I wonder if its the weight of the bump through the night making me feel like this maybe?

Princess - the advice i have been given haveing had suspected swine flu was to proceed with the vaccine. I think like you having been very ill with possible swine flu already there is no way i would go through that again. Just ask your docs for it if you decide you want it HTH. Everyone is getting a sore arm with it because they are injecting into the muscle but its a small price to pay imho.
Boo to the BH - i am getting a bit worried as mine stopped after being in bed for 2 weeks after that flu i had as did the colostrum ??? I do hope the colostrum comes back in at least:o . i am currently getting kicked in the lungs:rolleyes: Do you find it difficult / slightly painful to breath in? (or am i just very unfit:rotfl:)
Yay for the furniture :T- you are spurring me on to do some tidying too:D OH has finished his nesting now:rolleyes::rotfl:0 -
Iheartfreebies - boo to the SPD - i dont have a tubigrip though - is it for your bump?

Mine colostrum started ever so suddenly after they gave me the pethedine the first time i was in hospital  was quite a shock as i really wasnt expecting that to happen:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: However it stopped after a few days and hasnt come back
I do find breathing difficult at times i guess it depends on what position baby is in though
With regards to the jab i think i will ask the midwife about it tomorrow at my appointment, a sore arm is nothing compared to all the bruises im covered in from blood tests, i still have a bruise from a blood test that i had done 2 weeks ago  I seem to wake up everyday with a dead arm not sure if its connected to the amount of blood tests etc i have had in it though0
