Argghh i can't sleep cos i'm so thirsty, but drinking so much water is making me bloated and feels even worse than being dehydrated!! Serves me right for having a salt addiction and having a greasy tea :(
  • Morning ladies!

Well, I saw the physio on Friday and have definately got SPD :(. She gave me the most ginormous tubigrip and some exercises to do and booked me in for a few weeks time - not the magic wand I was hoping for :rotfl:

Picked up my free changing bag from Boots :money:and have to say it was much better than I expected it to be. It has an insulated bottle space and a travel changing mat :D

Going to have a go customising some plain bodysuits today, I'll pop some pics up if they turn out nice.

GISI - good luck with the sweep today

moneyangel - congrats & welcome. I really liked babycentre earlier on as you can sign up to a birth club for the month you're due so you can speak to ladies due at the same time - very reassuring that your niggles are perfectly normal :D I would add though that you should listen to your instincts, having had a mc and ectopic pregnancy this year, neither of which had the "usual symptoms" I've learnt to trust my insticts and if it doesn't feel right then ask for help

gym - how exciting! When it comes to your wedding you should do what makes you happy - not everyone else.

Som - glad your day got better :D

re swine flu jab - I've been offered it but am not having it. My Mum doesn't want me to have it either. I'm not working and don't really come into contact with many people so would think I'm low risk. If I was using public transport a lot and interacting with lots of people I might think twice but as has been said I think it's a very personal choice.

Beenie - hope you managed to get some sleep!
  • Aww Beenie, hope you got some sleep in the end.

All this talk of weddings is so lovely. I'd say go for it- mine was the happiest day of my life (so far). Does anyone watch 'Don't Tell the Bride'? I love it, but get really angry with the stupid grooms. I was addicted to it planning my wedding. Gratuitous pic of my wedding http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1833215&l=c195d3d6d1&id=799340299

Off to hospital now for my sweep. Have a good Sunday everyone!

    Morning ladies ,
not caught up yet , just a bit of advise if anyone around..

I still have this awful pain in my shoulder and since yesterday afternoon , really bad headaches, took paracetemol, and isnt touching it ,, do you think it could be to do withpg? or something else?

If pg : would you call MW on mobile ? Maternity unit? , or nhs direct maybe ?

i 'm not sure , i dont want to waste anyones time if its normal

EDIT : Called Community Mw office , they say its not connected to PG , and to take paracetemol, and to go to walk in center if no better later
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

OH & I have been talking about getting married today, as I've always said I'd prefer to be married before baby (bit late for that now!!), but he has agreed we should get married soon after, so thinking maybe July, quietly just us & baby, then go off on holiday (combined with his 30th birthday which we were planning to go away for too) Not sure how realistic it is, but a nice idea, gonna start looking into it! Do you think people would think we were mental if we got married, literally, just the 2 of us? & if we went somewhere like Gretna Green, would they provide us with witnesses? I know it sounds nuts but OHs family is so complicated that the only way we can really do it without too much difficulty is on our own.

Sounds lovely:) I know a few people who have gone to Gretna Green to get married, all of them said it was perfect.
Our families are extremely awkward too, so we didn't want any of them there when we got married. We had a holiday booked to Cyprus so decided it might be nice (and easy) to get married while on holiday, so I called the local town hall (Paralimni) and arranged the wedding before we went, it was really lovely and they arranged the witnesses for us too:)

I would phone the out of hours doctors and try and get an appt with them....It doesn't really sound pg related as such, although could be because you are pregnant as ligaments etc soften...but I don't think the midwife/maternity unit would be able to advise much....the doc will give you, or advise you to take something slightly stronger than paracetamol (co-codomol probably)

It does it with me too...It is because it is counting from date of conception...so 2wks less. If you type in that you are due tomorrow it counts you as 38wks preg not the 40wks that we use as we go from lmp and predict conception two wks later iygwim

(So it is basically using baby's exact 'age')
