Well i made just over £100 on ebay :j not including the postage :j
Im a bit miffed though so of the brand new maternity clothes that still had labels on only went for 99p as did some of the bundles of baby clothesWish id put the clothes all on seperatley now but never mind
Made more on the used maternity clothes than i did on the new ones and i had 8 items that didnt sell so i will relist them when i put all my other bits on.
But yay for over £100 im pleased with that considering i was only looking to make back the £33 the maternity clothes bundle cost me0 -
Hello Ladies and bumps,
How are we all doing? Just a question, do any of you play music to baby? I plut my phone on my bump at night and play music, Baby seem sto love it, wriggling away in there, but my mum has told me off and says I could be damaging baby by using my phone.
Jolene
The worry with mobile phones is the radio waves they use when connecting you to the network, you probably shouldn't hold the phone to your bump when making calls :rotfl:If you are just using the phone to play music there isn't a problem.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Ooh well done PP! That is a fab total.
I can't wait to get some of my maternity stuff listed. I've got quite a few bits to go on but have been putting it off, thinking baby would be here weeks ago!
Ooh, got my sweep tomorrow at 9am! How exciting:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Aww ladies you are all such a major support, thankyou. I love coming here cos I know you'll understand. Work was ok although a lil slow cos of the weather, wet and windy eek! My Mum and Mil are excited but I just dont see them that often, but OH is a sweetheeart so I should be grateful for that at least
Had a lovely suprise today as we got back our claim for our private scan which was £90 however turns out the healthcare co. pay out £300 regardless so we are up £210 woohoo. Thats such a nice addition to our mat fund and will really help out, going out for a cheapie chinease to celebrate
Also OH brought me a bacon sarnie and a sausage sarnie into work for lunch to cheer me up as I was a lil teary this am. So in all am in a way better mood now.
On the BB discussion, mine is a little shallower but thats all, hoping it doesnt go out just cos its freaking OH out atm!
Nikkit - eek at the shoulder pain, hope it goes quick.
Gemma - poor you for sore arm after jab, hope its better tonight and you can sleep.
32b - not the kind of shopping trip you ever want really, hugs and strength vibes for you xx
Elasti - your OH sound like he's ignorant s*d!, my OH would never dream of letting me do all that on my own.
Gisi - how annoying about your fence hope its not too £££!
Gym - your burst waterbottle story made me laugh, glad it wasnt your waters!
Moneyangel - welcome and congrats, and I agree babycentre is good (but then there are lots of others that will do the same) they email you each week with whats going onAs for pains I had several early on but if your really not sure NHS direct is best bet.
Right off to get changed or I'll get too comfy and we'll never get chinease hehe.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Well i brought a big bundle off ebay a while ago for £33 when it turned up it was between sizes 8 and 18
So i kept what fit me and put the rest in a box til after i had moved ready to chuck on ebay, so i still have all of mine to go on when little man makes his appearance :rotfl:
I know i have loads more bits to put on aswell its just getting round to actually doing it
Im thinking about keeping all of the money in my paypal account and putting it towards buying a new buggy i got the one i have off freecycle but i dont really like it its just sooooooo big0 -

Wow, but I'm full!! DH just made the most lovely meal. We had talked about going out this evening as we had a Pizza Express voucher for 4 pizzas for £20, but agreed that we could spend less than that on a really special home cooked dinner, so we did!
We managed to get some lovely sirloin steak from the butchers, and cooked it with field mushrooms and provencal potatoes - delicious. He then made mincemeat pie and custard for pud and I'm stuffed! It's lovely being married to a man who can cook....
Hope everyone's well, just going to read back now to see what I've missed.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Well done on the eBaying PP
Glad I didn't offend SJ, was worried I had (accidentally do it all too often!!)
Glad you're feeling better SomHow lovely of OH to bring you your lunch into work, bless him.
We just had fish & chips for tea from the freezer, it was gross, think the frozen fish had been in there for at least a year!! On the bright side, gonna get a quick bath then have popcorn & dandelion and burdock with the X Factor
OH & I have been talking about getting married today, as I've always said I'd prefer to be married before baby (bit late for that now!!), but he has agreed we should get married soon after, so thinking maybe July, quietly just us & baby, then go off on holiday (combined with his 30th birthday which we were planning to go away for too) Not sure how realistic it is, but a nice idea, gonna start looking into it! Do you think people would think we were mental if we got married, literally, just the 2 of us? & if we went somewhere like Gretna Green, would they provide us with witnesses? I know it sounds nuts but OHs family is so complicated that the only way we can really do it without too much difficulty is on our own.Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
mmm just had quarter duck from the chinese and ate all of it - yummy!
Still here with no signs :-(
Yay for sweep tomorrow GISI - good luck!0 -
I can't believe we're all still here, CharlieDavis! We've got some lazy babies between us.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
