Bad luck Delain - hope you're feeling better now.

    Yes thank you :D

Had to miss my last MW appt due to slapped cheek (two out of three had it) and I haven't heard anything back about my blood test so Ive just rung the doctors and will ask the nurse when she calls back of she can wrangle me an appointment so I can find out what's going on and check if baby is ok because I've not been reassured by MW telling me not to come to clinic

Have you got everything ready at home now for bubs arriving?

Hi all, I haven't had a chance to catch up yet but am here and still have bump!! Have had a nightmare week, dd's dad has had a heart op and she's been worrying about it and causing havoc (as she's 5!) and his dad has had a stroke. So bless her she's been quite upset with everything and not sure what's going on with her weekend being cancelled etc

doing as little as I can now because everything seems to set off contractions, but nothing else has happened as yet luckily!

hope everyone is ok, appropriate vibes to those who need. will try to catch up at some point so I know what's happening!!

    Morning ladies

Oooh redstar and jolene - lots of luck for tomorrow! Can't believe it's nearly over for you both. keep us posted as best you can.

Welcome and congrats to those who've moved up from the less than 12 weeks thread :)

pigpen - sorry your OH was being such n*b. Why do men have such an issue with telling is what is bothering them!! Mine is quite placid on the whole but I came home from work on Sat and he was being really off, barely got a cuddle, didnt ask about my day, was giving me one word answers....I kept asking was he ok and he was saying yes....then I logged onto facebook and saw his status update from earlier that day saying that his xbox had red ring of death! lol explained a lot :)

I can't remember what else I wanted to catch up with......stupid pregnancy brain lol

My fingers are all fat and swollen this morning and I can't get my rings on :( They've been doing it at night lately but this is the first time I've not been able to do it in a morning booo

    Morning ladies,

20 week scan for me this afternoon (will ignore the fact I'm 21+5! :rotfl:). I bought Grazia too so I can use the 25% off New Look voucher to buy some clothes (our local charity shops just not delivering the goods and I'm sooooo sick of safety pins!)

Good luck for the tomorrow mummies! Doesn't the time go quickly :D:eek:

Ooh good luck Jolene and Redstar for tomorrow!!! Hope all goes really well for you both.
First day back to school for my two this morning, I could feel the strain under my bump when I got home! Haven't moved off the sofa since LOL. Must sort out the baby clothes, I have had lots of boys stuff given from my cousin, but seeing as we are on team yellow I can't really get too excited about blue outfits!

Jolene... good luck for tomorrow!! How exciting:D

Congrats on those who've joined us:) I felt "flutterings" at 10 weeks. I know it wasn't wind as I KNOW what that feels like:o

Someone said a few posts back (sorry can't be bothered to find it:p) "but the macleran xt doesn't face both ways"... TBH bean will have enough of looking at our ugly mugs at home so it doesn't bother me!! I'm sure the perfect mother police will come along and shout at me about how its best for baby to see me 24 hours day blah blah blah;)

I'm going to be having a carrier/sling as well... poor baby can't get closer enough to my face than that!!:p:rotfl:
I felt flutterings early now and since last night have been feeling what might be kicks - hard to know as it's probably too early (15+2) but if not i don't know what it is, is quite painful and feels like i'm being kicked from the inside!!

smartie - I completely agree with the XT, I know they all say babies should face at the beginning but I agree about the sling and I really only plan to use pushchair for shortish trips out. My mind is pretty much made up (though it will probably change a few times again!), I remember meeting a woman through work who said she had bought a maclaren xt from birth and never regretted it for a moment. All her friends promptly abandoned their giant travel systems and bought the same!!!

If mine is extra grumpy its usually because he can't do what he needs on his ps3 games! Grrrr.

Am at work and should be getting on.....train was cancelled this morning so took me 1h45 to get here! great start to the week.

The main problem was.. I don't even know what he was being a twerp about!! As far as I am aware the only thing I said which would annoy was 'I am calling the baby XXXX and I don't care what you think!' :p.. in jest.. but.. he was in a grump then..

Nope.. had to wait while this morning!! :(

Still no idea why he was in a snit though... stupid men!!

For those also waiting.. MY PUMPKIN PATCH ORDER JUST ARRIVED!!!

The velour blankies and fluffy boots are just the cutest things I ever did see... sleeping bags are nice too

Off to buy Squeak a chest of drawers tomorrow so I'll free up the suitcase in the wardrobe as I'll have places for baby clothes.. :D

Can I now panic this is actually for real and happening?

Oooh your order has arrived? I sooo hope mine has too, mind you I am in work so it'll probably be carded and left at the depot! I ordered the sleeping bags too, didn't see the velour blankies tho??

Just go upto your OH and hug him, then he'll hav no option, I do this with my OH and now he automatically does it wen I approach, theres nothing better than a good hug :D

Well I found out my blood test results have been sent to a special lab(?!) so the doctor's haven't had my results and just haven't bothered to call me to let me know they hadn't heard even though I had them on the 26th of March

Anyway, I've got an appointment with a doctor at 6 tonight to check me and the baby out, and she said if he's worried he can refer to hospital.

Hopefully all will be OK and I just scared bubs into lying low and keeping still on Saturday night :rotfl: It was enough for me and I was on the outside :rotfl:
