Evening ladies
Just catching up on some of todays posts backwards while watching corries repeat.
Bexta-My baby is planned as being an only child.I've got a medical reason for it though and this pregnancy has been very difficult for me.spd, severe scoliosis spinal deformity, previous ops, 5 months of morning /all day sickness & unbearable backache also the only way I can give birth is by c section under general anesthetic.Hubby and I have both agreed on just the one but I sometimes imagine trying again in 6 years time when I am 34 years old.For now though we are just waiting for our surprise as we don't know the sex.
Sorted through babys stuff today -think I've gone overboard on neutral baby clothing.I have 14 babygros mostly white but with motifs, and 15 vests all in tiny and small baby sizes.2 cardigans, 3 hats, 9 pairs of socks 4 bibs and 2 pairs of booties.I haven't got a pramsuit-didn't think it would be necessary for a june baby or should I get one.
We also got babys bathset on thursday-classic winnie the pooh from mothercare at 20% Original price. This is the first item hubby has paid for in full himself after working overtime to pay for it especially.Had to order the baby box though as it wasn't in stock but apart from that we got the whole range mat, cuddle robe, etc and a few extra bits for £90 after joining the baby&me club for a further 10% Off,.I love winnie the pooh allthough hubbys prefers humphreys corner.Love can tame the wildest0 -
Morning all,
I feel raring to go this morning , I'm hoping the sun pops out so I can hang last nights washing out and do some painting jobs outside but it looks dull at the moment.
I'm back at work next Monday part time , I've been off since June on mat leave and I'm dreading it. I seem to have had lots of promotion opportunitys pass me by since I've been off. I'm not really bothered since I don't intend to go back after this one but I must admit it's "narked" me a little. But we can't have everything can we !
Pigpen - I hope you got it sorted last night. I hate going to bed on a "argument". I hate not speaking to my OH when we fall out (which isn't often but I really dislike it all the same)
Sonee - 9 pairs of socks!! Even now Sofia-Rose (8 months) only has 4 pairs of socks. Can I recomend sock-on's to you . They're the best thing since sliced bread and stops baby pulling their socks off and losing them. You can get them off Ebay or Mothercare about £4 but really worth it. I've only just stopped using them as she can now pull them off too. The minx ! P.s Sorry I know you didnt ask for someone comment on your list . You sound very organised. One thing I noticed is that you could do with more bibs or muslin cloths. A pram suit isn't necessary and see if you actually need one at all in cold weather later on. I never used mine this winter.
Right I'm off now , back later,
TC all,
Suzanne

Morning Xmas !
I think they're fairly new and designed by a mother of 4 who was fed up of losing socks. When I got mine from Mothercare the cashier looked at me crazy that i was paying £4 for a pair of socks but its saved me loads of money ...they just fit over the babys socks, I wish I'd of thought of designing them! ..The only thing now is to combat the sock monster who eats them out of the washing machine !
Back later0 -
Jolene Goodluck for tomorrow just think you will be getting mommy cuddles soon and dont panic everything will be fine and you will be a brilliant mom :-)
Sw i wil get a couple of pairs for the new baby i dont think they will be any good for bubs he has huge feet and i noticed on amazon some of the reviews werent very good saying they cut into larger babies feet and ankles and the poor might already has problems with socks diggin in i have buy a size larger than he needs. It wouldnt be so bad but he isnt a fat baby at all just very long with big feet and hands he is deffiantely his fathers son :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Jolene, best of luck for tomorrow!
Sonee, sorry that you've got so many problems with your pregnancy. I think mine's just fear of the unknown!
Suzy, I know age isn't really much of a factor in childrearing these days, I'm only 30 and nothing is ever really 100%. Who knows, I may wind up rabidly broody and MUST have another straight away, or I may be content with just the one. Either way's fine for us.
