Xmas – You just put me off it even more. I don’t like Gabe either. Not keen on name shortening either although my Tom is really called Tom and not Thomas.
Mel – Oh tell me about it, mine are older than yours ..I’ve had it longer than you ! Lol..Bring on the barbie dolls! Did you bid on the chair?
Michelle – Sorry not commented as I need to look myself yet at prams. We have a Mamas and Papas one, Im naff at remembering names of stuff but we both loved it on sight and we knew that it was “the one”
Bexta - Lots of people in their 40's have children still. Sorry, I dont know how old you are but your OH is 47. I dont think it really matters about the age as long as its not "too" old.0 -
we went through a whole baby names book the other night and have a few potential girls names but no boys! DH was tempted to find out the sex so we only have to come up with one name, but I'm determined that we don't! I want a surprise!!
Unless you are 100% of baby's gender (such as having had amnio) .. choose 2 names anyway... Lily was a boy at all 3 scans!! Out pops.. Dylan.. oh.. hang on.. bit missing... Crap! What do we call her now?!
the MW had found 'him' a blue blanket and filled out half the blue cot card
I don't know if I am being hormonal (I don't feel like I am).. BUT.. OH seems to have been in a right snotty mood with me all day yet is in with DD1 painting the bedroom al chatty and laughing and I am sat in my room by myself listening to them.. he has barely said 10 words to me all day.. apart from when in B&Q asking what paint we needed! (despite having a list!!!)
I'd like to know just what I am supposed to have done or said.. or not..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen - Bet that was a shock on the day !
You know what us women are like ! Wasn't him asking you about the paint a way of talking to you ? Dont sit on your own... go in to them and test the water. If he doesnt then react nicely then S£d him!0 -

Hi Everyone,
Can i join in?
Its time for me to graduate from the less than 12weeks preg thread, as i'm almost 14 weeks but was too chicken before scan....

Look forward to getting to know you all over the next 26 ish weeks

I don't fit in.. the door won't open wide enough as the bed is behind it and I'm too fat.... and I feel very ounce of it!.. when I opened the door a crack and spoke to them both they just moaned about the paint being 'wrong' so I left.. it just hadn't been shaken properly I think.
He has now taken her to the shop.. she was 'too tired' to make a cup of tea yet plenty awake enough to go buy crap.. She went with him shopping earlier too.. I can't walk far so I couldn't have gone.
It was somewhat of a shock lol.. Nice one though.. once I got to go shopping for pink!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
pigpen - it's probably your hormones!
Yep i said to DH you never know for sure from the scan anyway!
I've been having real tummy pain tonight, i can only think it's just trapped wind but keeps making me double over and feels very weird! Can almost feel it reverberate down my left leg. I guess it could be ligaments but it feels internal!
Nausea seems to have returned somewhat too, couldn't eat much dinner tonight and really not fancying food againMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Yay for seeing baby tomorrow nene
xmas - It's strange though because I absolutely can't see me having a girl and I would have loved 4 boys!! Although there was obviously a teeny, tiny bit of me that craved a girly;)
kitkat - yay on buying the swing, I found it to be a godsend, honestly. I am hoping to get the highchair for baby and cot for ds3 secondhand...I really want the chicco polly highchair as I love it, and I really want an oak(ish) coloured cot for ds3, preferably M&P as I have one local so it's easy to get a new mattress.
I bid on the highchair it went up to over £35.00 in the last few seconds, must have had a snipe set on it...I was only really willing to go to £30, I still have 11wks till due and then of course it won't be used for at least 4/5mths anyway....
I think I have fallen for the M&P Sola pushchair, although I know if I leave it for now then some will start to come available on eBay, preloved etc...it has only been out since Jan/Feb and I don't even NEED it for about a year anyway:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Pigpen - My stomach flipped when you said you dont fit in...I thought how lonely you must be ...then i realised you meant cos your big! lol Arrh you sound like your feeling a bit down with it all tonight. He's probably just staying out of the way.0 -
I don't want him out of the way.. I need hugging.. lots..
