Bexta i said never again after the first and it stayed that way until she was about 3 yrs old then i got cocky and thought ooh this is easy lets have a another one. Needless to say i wouldnt be without any of my kids i love them to bits and if i had the money and the energy i would probably keep reproducing. But OMG what a difference having more than one makes i need eyes in the back of my head and your not just a mother your a mediator, referee, nurse, councilor, advisor, pillow, judge and jury and every second of it is worth it they give me so much love and happiness i just couldnt imagine only having lolly now :-) x

Welcome billybob congratualtions on graduating. You will find you will feel things more early this time round so you could be feeling baby by now. Hope everything goes well and you have a smooth pregnancy :-) x

I WILL NOT be telling any of you what names I've picked:p:p:p

I do have a slight problem in that DH really doesn't want the boy's name I've chosen:mad: Oh well!:rotfl:

The baby name book is really intresting. It doesn't just list names but goes into how to chose a name, why names become popular etc etc. For example it says because of the football World Cup this year names like Theo (Walcott) and Ashley (Young) will become popular. Don't worry... I haven't picked a footballers name!!;)

Just trying to catch up now, but while I do...
Hugs to Budget, that sounds like a really traumatic experience, I can't really add to what the others have said, but do try not to worry, as that won't help - I know it's easier said than done.
Smartie - we're really struggling with names, we've got about 4 'possibles' and keep yoyoing between them. Theo was one of them, but we've decided against it for exactly that reason. DH really wanted to call him 'Francesc' after the footballer Francesc Fabregas, but I've said no!!!!

Jolene, hope the pre-op goes well.
Strange to think that by the end of tomorrow, we'll have our babies....and pregnancy will be over!

Jolene... good luck for tomorrow!! How exciting:D

Congrats on those who've joined us:) I felt "flutterings" at 10 weeks. I know it wasn't wind as I KNOW what that feels like:o

I have a 14 year old DS so I feel this is a "1st" baby IYKWIM... and this WILL BE the only one... no more you hear me DH!!:p I have medical issues etc so we made the decision to have this one knowing things won't be easy... and I'm certainly not going through all this again!!;)

Someone said a few posts back (sorry can't be bothered to find it:p) "but the macleran xt doesn't face both ways"... TBH bean will have enough of looking at our ugly mugs at home so it doesn't bother me!! I'm sure the perfect mother police will come along and shout at me about how its best for baby to see me 24 hours day blah blah blah;)

I'm going to be having a carrier/sling as well... poor baby can't get closer enough to my face than that!!:p:rotfl:

Had a little panic this morning about 20 week scan especially as we haven't seen little bean and don't really know if he's ok:o:(

    Sorry for epic post!!

Pigpen - I hope you got it sorted last night. I hate going to bed on a "argument". I hate not speaking to my OH when we fall out (which isn't often but I really dislike it all the same)

The main problem was.. I don't even know what he was being a twerp about!! As far as I am aware the only thing I said which would annoy was 'I am calling the baby XXXX and I don't care what you think!' :p.. in jest.. but.. he was in a grump then..
Pigpen I hope you got your hugs in the end men are such funny creatures some times and they say we are complicated!

Nope.. had to wait while this morning!! :(

Still no idea why he was in a snit though... stupid men!!

For those also waiting.. MY PUMPKIN PATCH ORDER JUST ARRIVED!!!

The velour blankies and fluffy boots are just the cutest things I ever did see... sleeping bags are nice too

Off to buy Squeak a chest of drawers tomorrow so I'll free up the suitcase in the wardrobe as I'll have places for baby clothes.. :D

Can I now panic this is actually for real and happening?

    Hello :hello:

Good luck Redstar, hope it all goes well for you!

Well we ended up having a change of heart on the buggy side of things, and got a Jane slalom pro from ebay, because I wanted something 3 wheel and easy to push because the 3 wheeler I had for my twins was the best of about ten buggies I've had, but OH really wanted a travel system so we met in the middle and got the slalom and a carrycot (both from ebay) but we went across two counties to pick it up on our child free day (or so we thought) and then got a phone call to say could I come back as DD2 being violently sick, doh! She's all right now but she gave it to me and I spent most of saturday night in the bathroom, nice _pale_

Hope everyone else manages to avoid the bug though :)
