Hello all, been AWOL so I've missed loads, but massive congratulations on births, scans etc.

I wasn't doing anything fun, (TMI alert) on Wednesday evening and noticed a bit of staining on my undies and a bit of blood when I wiped, so OH carted me off the hospital, where I had to stay for 24hrs. One lot of antiD (stingy) and 2 lots of steroid jabs (even stingier), and a speculum test (nice, not) and then I've got to go back at 11 for a scan. I'm not worried about bubs cos it's been as wriggly as usual, and it really was a teeny bit of blood, but I probably stressed a bit cos I knew if there was any blood involved I had to get antiD, so would've had to go up to hospital anyway at that time of night.

My poor lovely, sweet OH has now got me thinking about hospital bags though, cos he managed to throw enough stuff for a week into a body bag sized haversack (some of it deeply random, but he was worried) so I guess I need to think about sorting out something less huge (seriously, he could fit into it if he curled up)

Hospital was mega boring, but it was clean, it gets slagged off a bit, and I have to say when OH mum was admitted a couple of years ago it was manky, but all of the staff were scrupulous when I was there, so that's comforting. Still don't wanna go back until I'm sure it's the main event though.

Silly thing is though, I'm so used to been on team yellow, half of me is now worried that my surprise is going to be spoiled by this scan. Nah, it'll be lovely to see the Blob again and see how much it's changed. I'm not telling anyone I've been in though, cos they're all drama queens and kings! So only you lot know.

Thanks Xmas. I'm glad I got to have a reccy of the place tbh, cos literally the last time I was in hospital was 30 yrs ago when I was born. I suspect given bubs last two scans, it'll be an awkward little wotsit anyway, but I don't mind (really) either which way.

Hope your scan goes well - plenty of PINK VIBES being sent your way.

Hi everyone, hope the weather with you is as lovely as it is here!
Bexta - sorry you had a scare. I wouldn't worry too much about accidently finding out sex of baby. I've been told the sex, and each scan I've been at - including the extra one at 34 weeks, they've commented about my little man 'not being shy abdout showing off his bits', and to be honest, I still couldn't tell - just make sure they know that you don't want to know.

Pink vibes for xmas and hope everything is well with bubs.

Hope things are OK bex. Sounds like my DH packing, usually takes me a day when we go away and him about 5 mins and fits in a rucksack.

Just been to docs to get prescription for gaviscon, saw locum doc who was nice, kept telling me how ill she was preggers. Just waiting for my exemption certificate, does anyone know how long it takes?? Have got a bottle at home so will wait until that runs out as can also claim back the money.

Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine, I'm working from home so may take my lappy in the garden!

Hiya girls hope everyone is ok???

Ive noticed the past couple of nights that the outer side of my boobs (only 1 at a time) is hard and you can almost grab/pinch the hard 'lump'. Is that a sign that my boobs might start to swell (Im 32+5) - theyve not really grown so far so am guessing theyre due to start at some point :) Also my boobs are looking really veiny and are slightly raised at times. I only notice when I have a bath on a night
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D

I'm having fun this morning. I'm putting together a gift bag for my daughter to have when she comes to visit me and baby in hospital - present from baby, and to keep her out of mischief. We got her a 'Big Sister' t-shirt and bracelet from ebay (here), a Princess activity book, a zsu zsu pet (here) and some mini sweets - hopefully this'll keep her occupied!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
