Congratulations on the team pinks!:T
Happy Birthday Xmas!:D
I had my midwife appointment today and heard baby's heartbeat for the first time, it was fab!! I've been much more sure this week that what I'm feeling is baby movements, I love it!!0 -

Gena is great to hear bubs heartbeat and feel flutters make it more real!
Hope you enjoy the galaxy bar wish I could have choc at mo but with my indigestion I'm on a bland diet
Rach glad to hear your showing, not sure I am - sure I will just pop out! Look forward to the bump pic if you get one.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

redstararnie76 - ooh, thanks, that's really interesting eek. I didn't know they make you take drugs. Makes me wonder what they were injecting me with at the EMCS! I need to remember to sort the hair out too

cafc - this is Britain, pack for snow
The weather did look nice today. Not nice enough for ds to be running around naked in the shade playing with the hosepipe. But I still let him :rotfl:. Anything for a bit of peace and quiet.:wall:0 -
I think I've finally caught up, welcome to suzanne and kinsella. I feel like i'm moving up the list...
Thanks for all the travel cot advice, i think from the peek i had it's a pretty old one, the guy didn't look like he had young kids so i wonder if it was at the grandparents. I will stick it in the in laws garage I think and worry about it when the baby is here!kitkat5566 wrote: »Rach; I would get all you can especially if its FREE!!! I have no luck at all with my local freecycle, nothing baby related posted at all, actually there havent been any new posts in weeks! My OH is getting ratty about my baby stuff catalogues all over the place, but i just tell him i want to get organised with what items i wana look for at boot sales, he even had a hissy fit at the weekend when we were tidying the 'nursery' as now he has to find places for all his stuff that used to be dumped in the room, he made a big speech about how this baby is causing him hardship as he is having to put his playstation band game away! I just said to him, I have had 4 months of sickness, constipation, heartburn, reflux, had to have 3 bra measurements, got swollen ankles, bad headaches, im going to get big, be covered in stretch marks and have to get this baby outa me! He soon shut up then!!
My Dh can also be thoughtless like that. He moaned today that he had 'cleaned the house as usual' (i.e. put the rubbish out), and cooked dinner...erm, yes, he was home almost 3 hours before me and I cooked last night...just because i'm the woman.. I have to tackle the 2 guitars and an amp in the spare room (which is getting a lot of the stuff from the study as baby is going in study...with the books!). Hoping it will fit under the new bed when we get one.
I can totally recommend Bio Oil for scarring if anyone's interested. I started putting it on my pancake disaster burn yesterday, and already it looks soooo much better. Much less red and sore looking, and it was a nasty burn. My own stupid fault, but I showed my little cousins it anyway so they know why mummy doesn't like them in the kitchen!
Right, think it's time for me to sleep...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

thanks - not much and is more when I wear my mat trousers, which I just wear as they are lovely trousers from next (via ebay!) and smart but comfy...i just fold the big bump band bit over!!
Anyone else not going to find out what they're having? I don't want to, I just want a surprise I think and I figure there are so few surprises in life, esp for someone who likes everything planned like me!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I have been lucky with netmums more than freecycle, I'm not fast enough for freecycle. best so far is my nearly £200 worth of new tots bots nappies for free.

Just be aware it's got a lot of petrochemical type stuff in, some people have no prob with this but I'm hoping for something natural...burts bees do a belly butter.
Right, think it's time for me to sleep...
I have no luck with netmums, maybe no one is my area wants to give anything away?!? But i will keep looking!! Ur DH sounds like my OH, we have 1 guitar and 2 massive amps in the 'babys room' lol. They must go! My OH always expects me to cook, as apparently as I have an office job i dont work as hard, lol :P men!0 -
lol we both have office jobs, he gets paid more but still...he is good really, I blame his mother for never getting them to help at home! We have come a long way in the 2 years we've been married, but still need to go further...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Congrats to Jopsey!
And congrats to all those who are on team pink...
Hello to newcomers!
Well, had app today and MW informed me that baby was head down still and the big boney thing sticking out of the top of my bump was indeed its bum.HOWEVER... have been referred to physio due to SPD/issues with pelvis and was informed that I (most likely) wont be able to give birth sat on my back...
:(:( A bit rubbish to know that there is a problem with my pelvis. Hopefully I will feel better in a few days when I get over it...?
Feeling rubbish now... especially with DH making daft comment about a top I had on and how it made me look big.... I told him thats what happens when youre pregnant, but made me feel down tbh.
Started getting all my bag ready today to help distract me, have baby stuff all ready now- just needs washing and putting into bag. All white as we dont know if its b/g.First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
