I had my midwife appointment today and heard baby's heartbeat for the first time, it was fab!! I've been much more sure this week that what I'm feeling is baby movements, I love it!!

must be great to know so you can get all cute stuff in pink. I got sidetracked in m and s today looking at all the cute sets, can't wait to know my flavour.

Gena is great to hear bubs heartbeat and feel flutters make it more real!

The weather did look nice today. Not nice enough for ds to be running around naked in the shade playing with the hosepipe. But I still let him :rotfl:. Anything for a bit of peace and quiet.

Thanks for all the travel cot advice, i think from the peek i had it's a pretty old one, the guy didn't look like he had young kids so i wonder if it was at the grandparents. I will stick it in the in laws garage I think and worry about it when the baby is here!

I have to tackle the 2 guitars and an amp in the spare room (which is getting a lot of the stuff from the study as baby is going in study...with the books!). Hoping it will fit under the new bed when we get one.

thanks - not much and is more when I wear my mat trousers, which I just wear as they are lovely trousers from next (via ebay!) and smart but comfy...i just fold the big bump band bit over!!

Anyone else not going to find out what they're having? I don't want to, I just want a surprise I think and I figure there are so few surprises in life, esp for someone who likes everything planned like me!

They must go! My OH always expects me to cook, as apparently as I have an office job i dont work as hard, lol :P men!

lol we both have office jobs, he gets paid more but still...he is good really, I blame his mother for never getting them to help at home! We have come a long way in the 2 years we've been married, but still need to go further...

Hello to newcomers!

Well, had app today and MW informed me that baby was head down still and the big boney thing sticking out of the top of my bump was indeed its bum. HOWEVER... have been referred to physio due to SPD/issues with pelvis and was informed that I (most likely) wont be able to give birth sat on my back... :(:( A bit rubbish to know that there is a problem with my pelvis. Hopefully I will feel better in a few days when I get over it...?

Feeling rubbish now... especially with DH making daft comment about a top I had on and how it made me look big.... I told him thats what happens when youre pregnant, but made me feel down tbh.

Started getting all my bag ready today to help distract me, have baby stuff all ready now- just needs washing and putting into bag. All white as we dont know if its b/g.

Thanks very much Just pop in every now and again, it's enough trying to keep up with the parents thread! I am planning no. 2 but not just yet, prob start TTC sometime next year. Sorry to hear about the PND but glad the eyelashes are still on!! Hope the pg goes smoothly for you (and not so long lol )
