Hi All,
Hope everyone had a great easter!
Went to my parents yesterday and they had bought a bag full of baby grows and fleecy pram suits from a car boot sale. My mum is going to wash and iron it all (even tho it looks pretty immaculate and unused) there was well over 20 items for £3 which i thought was good, from M&S and Gap. They also bought a high chair, have to admit havent even considered one yet! I kno bubs wont need it for a while, but its a nice comfy height adjustable one, with a big tray, so can be used when abit older for coloring/ etc. Its in Argos for £99.99 and they paid £15 which was good!
Got bit of an embarressing question, is it normal for my boobs to leak this early in my pregnancy? I'm 21 weeks, and went shopping Saturday, my left boob felt 'weird' and I noticed when I went to the loo my bra was abit wet and you could see a white patch on my black bra? Didn't want this to happen soo soon! Is there anything you can do about this? Doesnt seem enough coming out to use a breast pad? Sorry for TMI!0 -
I always cut DD's nails with normal clippers as I found you can see easier than with the specific baby ones. I've never cut her, just used to do a couple of nails at a time, while breastfeeding her so she was otherwise engaged. It was mainly for my own comfort as when they BF they sometimes massage the breast like a little kitten and when she had nails it was a really irritating sensation, so I would just snip them short, and still try to keep them short now out of habit I guess. I do them about once every week or two.0

Kitkat - I think it's definitely normal. I'm sure it was kindofagilr who had quite a bit of leakage early on. I'm 36 weeks and have had no leakage at all - seems to vary massivelyMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

totally normal, unless of course, I'm abnormal too! Been leaking since about 20 weeks and really badly during the night for the last month or so (now 29 weeks) so I'd advise getting some pads in preparation. If you don't want to "waste" pads for just a little leakage, you could always try using washables for a bit.
I'm considering trying Lilypadz as I'm still wearing underwires during the day and don't like to wear a bra at night - not to mention being a 38J makes it near impossible to find a comfy enough soft bra to sleep in! I'm thinking they might work as I don't really leak much during the day when I've got a bra on.0 -
Hello there everyone - I'm 13+2 and am having real trouble sleeping at the moment. I used to be a really sound sleeper, but now I feel like I've been conscious most of the night (even though I've not iyswim) tossing and turning, I ALWAYS wake up properly about 515-530am, I feel very aware of any pains/uncomfortable sensations in my tummy (not enough to take me to the drs, just odd feelings) I have very odd dreams when I do sleep and getting up in the morning takes me about 45 minutes to even get started...
Has anyone else experienced anything like this or is it just me? I was hoping I would have more energy once I got past 12 weeks, but no such luck so far!

Morning everyone, hope you all had a good Easter.
Jopsey - sending labour vibes, come on baby Jopsey!
Sending turning vibes for Gilly too!
I've always found baby nail clipping really awkward - I worry so much about catching them. DH did our daughter's, and I'm hoping he'll do this baby's! I did find with DD that they needed to be done, because otherwise she had a tendancy to scratch herself - even with scratch mitts...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

1more i always found it helped not to sit down for too long i found the pain was always worse if i stayed stationary for more than 10 mins (everything seemed to seaz up and i could actually feel my hips clicking back into place) of course that could irritate your back and apparently if you have stairs to tackle go down them backwards dont know how that works but it does. So move for 10 rest for 10 was my rule :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hello! :hello:
Have i missed many babies in my 200 page break from mse?!
We won our buggy on ebay yesterday, it was the only one which does what I want it to do (all terrain, good for walking around with, suspension so baby not getting thrown around, and we're ordering the pram part so baby can lie flat) and what OH wants (travel system) and it was a bit of a bargain too although the buggy seat is in Navy which I'm not keen on but won't need to use that for 6 moths :rotfl:
How's everyone?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks for that Esio, dont feel such a freek anymore!!! Its only a tiny amount, and I have now noticed it on the sports bras i wear at night. Lilypadz seem a good idea, might look for some now, I just feel wasteful using a whole disposable pad for such a small amount lol. I stopped wearing underwires at 10 weeks, it was getting so painful, I'm a 40DD now so I imagine 38J is hard to get comfortable with!!0
