    Morning

Looks like we have a few newly pregnant ladies.....WELCOME:D

I am tired today, partly my own fault as i went to bed waaaaay to late, partly the kids fault for not letting me have a lie-in;) Dh has got up now so may sneak up for a little snooze. There is tons of chocolate in this house, all 3 kids got 7 easter eggs each!! They are quickly getting through them, although I am going to ration them after today saves buying any treats for them for the rest of the holidays:) Just need to resist eating any of it myself as I am really trying to limit weight gain in this last 12wks....

    Mel x

Mine are the same Mel they already have 5 each and they havent seen their fathers side of the family yet so will end up with about the same again. I am thinking of telling some people not to buy them eggs next year its getting silly the amount they have.

Ive juat realised i have 4 days until my 20wk scan ooh its exciting :-) x

  • Welcome newbies!!!!
And congrats to the new babies and their mummys!!!

Mermaid - massive stay put vibes for you!!!! Try and keep bubs baking a bit longer. I had the same but i have luckily held out so far...so i'm sending some of these vibes your way! ;)

Well i have Tonsilitis too now :( I have no voice at all, my throat is ridiculously swolen and i feel soooooo groggy :( The only good thing to come from this is my contractions and pains have eased, so maybe my body thinks i need to get better before it starts scaring me that bubs is coming again.

We had a lovely day in Chessington overall, i did have a funny turn which scared OH senseless - i couldn't see and started talking jibberish again but it died down pretty quickly which was a good sign. We didn't bother going to the hosp but he has documented it all. I had a ridiculous migrane type headache in the night, night before last - like my head was about to pop and i must have sobbed throughout most of the night :( and it stuck put for the whole of yesterday....gone today but now this stupid tonsilitis :( I think i'm just on a war path! I hope i get better soon. DD is no better really - fine during the day but as soon as she gets tired the coughing fits are terrible.

And EASTER EGGS - please don't get me started....i'm finding it harder and harder to be grateful now each time we get another for DD. It's far far too much chocoloate - especially with her being ill....i do feel like a spoilsport but Easter and Xmas are my two times a year i dread how much sweets and chocolate she gets...hubbie hates it too. She has been allowed to eat 2 big eggs so far this easter - the others i will prob give away if i can.

Yay for 4 days till your scan Xmaslolly - are you going to ask which team your on??? x

pigpen - are you asking the flavour?

we are in 2 minds! I have always thought I'd prefer a surprise but since we got a name book we were thinking it would be easier to know as we're struggling to find any boys names we like! Well, there's one but it's my nephew's middle name (was my grandad's name) so dh is a bit reticent!

completely different subject - what do you experienced mums think about changing tables? I remember a friend having one and finding it useful. Our flat is all on one level so if we had one if would be in the baby's room and we'd not have to use any stairs to get to it.

Rach - I'm not an experienced mum but I'm dead against table changes as a girl I knew's baby rolled off hers onto the floor. He was fine but she was frantic and had to take him to a & e. She was a really careful Mum as well usually. If you do want one you need to make sure you don't take your hand off baby at any point!

I quite fancy an over cot changer (not quite so far for him to fall if I do anything silly and he'll be onto a nice soft mattress lol) but I'm not prepared to pay the £60 they want at mothercare! Keep watching out for a cheap on ebay.

MGEB - Can't believe what a bad time you're having! Tonsilitis is all you need on top of everything else....hope you feel better soon.

Lots of Labour vibes for Jopsey
